SECTION 109. 14 Employees on layoff status shall file their addresses in writing with the personnel office of the District 15 and shall thereafter promptly advise the District in writing of any change of address.
SECTION 109. 31 In the event of layoff, employees so affected are to be placed on a reemployment list maintained by the 32 District according to layoff ranking. Such employees are to have priority in filling an opening in the 33 classification held immediately prior to layoff. Names shall remain on the reemployment list for 34 eighteen (18) months.

SECTION 109 there is a question arising relative to the employee's physical fitness to work or the 3 reasonableness of the period for recovery requested, the employee may be asked to provide a 4 recommendation from his or her physician.
SECTION 109. 40 An employee on layoff status shall file their address in writing with the personnel office of the District 41 and shall thereafter promptly advise the District in writing of any change of address.
SECTION 109. 34 An employee shall forfeit rights to reemployment as provided in Section 10.8 if the employee does not 35 comply with the requirements of the Article, or if the employee does not respond to the offer of 36 reemployment within five (5) calendar days if the offer of reemployment is made during the school year 37 or during the two (2) weeks prior to the start of the school year. If the offer of reemployment is made 38 when school is not in session, or more than two (2) weeks prior to the start of the school year, the 39 employee shall have ten (10) calendar days to respond.
