Section 15.15. 2 The District and the Association Representatives will establish a committee to address staff 3 development. The District will provide up to five-thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per school year for 4 professional development (workshops, seminars, etc.). If this money is not exhausted in full, it shall be 5 rolled over and added to the allotment for the next contract year. The specific expenditures of these 6 funds will be determined jointly by a committee of two (2) District Administrators, designated by the 7 District and two (2) Association members, designated by the President of the Association.

Section 15.15. 20 Effective September 1, 2010, Paraeducators who have completed one hundred sixty (160) hours of 21 professional development activities to be approved by the administration shall receive twenty-five 22 cents ($0.25) per hour in addition to his/her pay rate as set forth in this Agreement. Paraeducators who 23 complete an addition one hundred sixty (160) hours of professional development activities shall receive 24 an additional twenty-five cents ($0.25) per hour in addition to his/her pay rate as set forth in this 25 Agreement. The total compensation for completion of three hundred twenty (320) clock hours is fifty 26 cents (0.50) per hour. Employees are responsible for tracking their professional development hours. 28 Those interested in requesting compensation for completed professional development hours, shall do 29 so do annually, prior to September 1.
Section 15.15. 3 Each day substitutes shall be called starting with the person where calling left off the day before. A 4 weekly log showing the calling pattern shall be posted each Monday for the previous week.

  • Section 14 Upon timely request, the Department of Administrative Services shall make available at no cost to the Union the latest copy of any SEIU Local 503, OPEU bargaining unit employee statistical and expenditure reports relative to employment and benefits currently produced by the Department of Administrative Services which do not require manual or machine editing to remove confidential data or non-SEIU Local 503, OPEU bargaining unit employee data. Such request must be made in advance of the preparation of the reports. If new and appropriate employee statistical and expenditure reports are produced by the Department of Administrative Services, the Department and the Union may mutually agree in advance to provide such reports at no cost.
