Section 15.2.4. 2 If no settlement has been reached within the ten (10) days referred to in the preceding 3 subsection, and the Association believes the grievance to be valid, a written statement of 4 grievance shall be submitted within ten (10) working days to the District board of directors.
Section 15.2.4. 38 If no settlement has been reached within the fifteen (15) workdays referred to in the preceding 39 subsection, and the Association believes the grievance to be valid, the Association may demand 40 that the grievance be resolved by the services of the American Arbitration Association. The 41 cost of such service shall be shared equally by the District and the Association and the decision 42 of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on all parties.
Section 15.2.4. 26 If no settlement has been reached within the ten (10) days referred to in the preceding 27 subsection, and the Association believes the grievance to be valid, a written statement of 28 grievance shall be submitted within fifteen (15) working days to the District Board of 29 Directors. After such submission, the parties will have thirty (30) working days from 30 submission of the written statement of grievance to resolve it by indicating on the statement of 31 grievance the disposition. The Board of Directors reserves the right to summon the employee 32 for an oral statement of the grievance. The employee reserves the right to appear before the 33 Board of Directors to explain the grievance. At any appearance before the Board of Directors, 34 the employee may be accompanied by an Association representative or designee.
Section 15.2.4. 7 Employees who change job positions or classifications shall go to the next higher dollar amount 8 on Schedule A in the new job position or classification from their present salary step.
Section 15.2.4. 6 If no settlement has been reached within ten (10) days referred to in the preceding subsection, 7 and the Association believes the grievance to be valid, a written statement of grievance shall be 8 submitted within ten (10) working days to the District Superintendent. After such submission, 9 the parties will have ten (10) working days from submission of the written statement of 10 grievance to resolve it by indicating on the statement of grievance the disposition. If an 11 agreeable disposition is made, all parties to the grievance shall sign it. The District 12 Superintendent reserves the right to summon the employee for an oral statement of the 13 grievance. The employee reserves the right to appear before the District Superintendent to 14 explain the grievance. At any appearance before the District Superintendent, the employee 15 may be accompanied by an Association representative or designee.
Section 15.2.4. 11 If no settlement has been reached within five (5) workdays referenced in the preceding 12 subsection, and the Association believes the grievance to be valid, a written statement of the 13 grievance shall be submitted to the School Board within five (5) workdays. The Board will 14 hear the grievance at its next regularly scheduled meeting or schedule a special meeting to hear 15 the grievance so a decision can be rendered within fifteen (15) workdays. If an agreeable 16 disposition is made, all parties shall sign it.
Section 15.2.4. 30 If no settlement has been reached in the preceding subsection, and the Association believes the 31 grievance to be valid, a written statement of grievance shall be submitted within fifteen (15) 32 working days to the District Board of Directors. After such submission, the parties will have 33 thirty (30) working days to resolve the grievance. The Association reserves the right to appear 34 before the Board of Directors to explain the grievance. At any appearance before the Board of 35 Directors, the employee may be accompanied by an Association representative or designee. A 36 written statement indicating the disposition of the grievance shall be furnished the aggrieved.
Section 15.2.4. 33 Longevity steps are awarded at the completion of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years. Longevity is 34 cumulative.
Section 15.2.4. 5. No party at interest in any grievance proceeding will be discriminated against 16 because of his/her use of the grievance procedure.
