Section 6.3.4. 13 Employees shall be allowed a rest period of not less than ten (10) minutes, on the District’s 14 time, for each four (4) hours of work time. Rest periods shall be scheduled as near as possible 15 to the midpoint of the work period. No employee shall be required to work more than three (3) 16 hours without a rest period.
Section 6.3.4. 32 Bus drivers shall be paid their regular hourly rate of pay for attending safety and other meetings 33 as assigned by the District. One (1) required DOT physical examination will be paid for by the 34 District per year, provided that the employee goes to the District's appointed doctor. Any other 35 District-directed physical examination/test shall be fully paid by the District. All such 36 payments shall be direct from the District to the examining facility. Employees' choosing 37 another approved DOT medical examiner for the required DOT physical examination shall be 38 reimbursed an amount not greater than that paid by the District to the approved DOT medical 39 examiner. Employees must have a receipt showing that they paid the xxxx for reimbursement 40 and that the examiner must by on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners as per 41 OSPI. 42

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.

  • Section 4.5 37 The President of the Association and designated representatives will be provided time off without loss of 38 pay to a maximum of three (3) days per year to attend regional or State meetings when the purpose of 39 those meetings is in the best interests of the District as determined by the District administration.
