REGULAR WORKDAY. 1. The regular day's work for all employees shall be worked within nine (9) consecutive hours, and all employees shall receive one (1) hour off for lunch at approximately the middle of the working shift. No eight (8) hour employee shall be scheduled for more than five (5) hours or less than three (3) hours before a meal break. Where night stocking crews are required to work behind closed doors, a one-half (1/2) hour lunch period may be instituted. Notwithstanding the above, in a given store, deviations in lunch schedules may be made upon mutual agreement between an employee and the Employer with the approval of the Union.

REGULAR WORKDAY. The regular workday is defined as the hours of 8:00AM -5:00PM. Swing: Swing is defined as hours between 5:01PM and midnight (12:00AM). An employee who is assigned to work four (4) or more hours in at least one shift during swing hours shall be paid a shift differential of $65.00 per month, pro-rated for part-time employees. Graveyard: Graveyard is defined as hours between 12:01AM and 7:59AM. An employee who is assigned to work four (4) or more hours in at least one shift during graveyard shift hours shall be paid a shift differential of $85.00 per month, pro-rated for part-time employees.
REGULAR WORKDAY. Except for employees assigned to 40-hour per week classifications, a "regular workday" shall consist of seven (7) consecutive hours of work within a workday, exclusive of a one-hour unpaid meal period. A "regular workday" for employees assigned to 40-hour per week classifications shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours inclusive of a 30-minute meal period. The consecutive hour definition of workday above shall not include those departments or agencies where this is not current practice. The Union agrees that in the future it will not unreasonably withhold its approval of any further changes in the definition of workday.
REGULAR WORKDAY. The "Regular Workday" is from 0600 to 2400. In all cases, the first regular workday in a workweek begins at the time the workweek begins.
REGULAR WORKDAY. The Hickory Point workday shall be from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., the Shabonee workday shall be from 8:10 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.; and, the Wood Oaks workday shall be from 8:10
a. m. to 3:35 p.m. The Board of Education reserves the right to change the beginning and ending hours set forth in this Section, so long as the total workday is not increased or extended past 3:40 p.m. During each workday, the teacher shall be entitled to a duty-free lunch period equal to that of the students. The parties understand and agree that the professional duties of teachers require attendance at regularly scheduled and occasional meetings during and outside the regular workday although no additional compensation will be paid. To accomplish these professional duties, the parties further agree that the teachers will be available at reasonable times for these meetings during and outside the regular workday. Examples of regularly scheduled meetings may include, but are not limited to: team, curricular content, Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS), and staff meetings. Moreover, the parties acknowledge and agree that voluntary teacher participation in certain meetings is encouraged but not required. Such voluntary participation is not compensated. Examples of voluntary meetings may include but are not limited to Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Middle School Committee, Student Safety, Building- level Professional Development, etc.
REGULAR WORKDAY a. The regular teacher workday shall be when school is in session and students are present, exclusive of attendance at faculty meetings, in-service, periodic parent conferences and meetings, and/or extracurricular and supervisory assignments.
b. The regular teacher workday shall not exceed eight (8) consecutive clock hours, including lunch. Elementary Buildings: Four (4) days each week, all teachers will be in their buildings and ready for work at least ten (10) minutes prior to the first xxxx, designated by the Superintendent at the start of each year. The fifth day will be a late student arrival day. Teachers will arrive sixty (60) minutes prior to the first xxxx. On late student arrival days, sixty (60) minutes will be used for professional learning and collaboration. The one late student arrival day each week will be designated by the Superintendent. Middle School: Four (4) days each week, all teachers will be in their buildings and ready for work at least thirteen (13) minutes prior to the first xxxx, designated by the Superintendent at the start of each year. The fifth day will be a late student arrival day. Teachers will arrive sixty-two (62) minutes prior to the first xxxx. On late student arrival days, sixty (60) minutes will be used for professional learning and collaboration. The one late student arrival day each week will be designated by the Superintendent.
c. A teacher shall be permitted to leave the building during any break period, upon notification of the principal/designee.
d. Elementary teachers may self-schedule a reasonable break(s) in their day to attend to personal hygiene needs. In scheduling any such break(s), the teacher shall be responsible for providing adequate supervision, as required by law, District and building requirements, for his/her students during such break(s).
