Section 9.7.6. The FMLA leave shall be without pay after the employee has used his/her total accumulation of 26 paid leave for any absence eligible for FMLA leave. Health benefits provided under any group 27 health plan will be continued for the duration of the leave at the level and under conditions 28 coverage would have been provided if the employee had been working during the leave.

Section 9.7.6. When the District’s staffing needs warrant additional PAEOP support of two (2) hours or less 3 per day, normally, the District shall add the hours to a current employee in that building or 4 program, providing no employee exceeds eight (8) hours per day. However, principals may 5 elect to bank the hours for use later in the school year (budgeted at an average PAEOP hourly 6 rate), or post and fill the hours (paid as Office Support, Level A, Step 0).
Section 9.7.6. The authorized leave without pay may be renewed for one (1) additional year upon request by the employee and approval by the Human Resources Officer or designee.
Section 9.7.6. Any employee who terminates employment shall receive payment for unused personal time 6 prorated to their separation date with their final paycheck.
