Security Interviews. Employees shall have the right to have another employee of their choice, working in the store at the time of the interview, in attendance at any interviews by security agents of the Employer.

Security Interviews. Each employee has the right, during an investigation which the employee reasonably believes may result in discipline, to request the presence of his shop xxxxxxx, if the shop xxxxxxx is available. If his shop xxxxxxx is not available, such employee may request the presence of another immediately available shop xxxxxxx. If a shop xxxxxxx, pursuant to the employee's request, is present during such an interview, the shop xxxxxxx, in addition to acting as an observer, may, after the investigator has completed his questioning of the employee, ask additional questions of the employee in an effort to provide information which is as complete and accurate as possible. The shop xxxxxxx shall not obstruct or interfere with the interview.

Security Interviews. When an employee is required to attend a security interview, the employee shall be advised, in general terms (for example: misappropriation, conflict of interest, breach of trust, etc.), of the nature of the interview, prior to the meeting providedin section A Union Representative shall be granted, immediately prior to a security interview, a maximum of minutes to confer with the employee whom he represents. The Union Representative shall, unless the employee objects, be invited by management to attend a security interview whenever an employee is interviewed by a representative of the Company's Security Department. It is understood that local management and Union representatives shall attend the interview as observers to the process and not as participants. They shall be able to ask clarifying questions during the meeting, but shall, in no way, disrupt the investigation process. During these interviews, Company and Union representatives will perform their respective responsibilities in a professional and courteous manner with mutual respect for their counterparts. The main purpose of the interview is to identify the facts pertaining to the matter being investigated.
