Selection of an SRO. The Chief of Police or his designee, with input from the District, shall choose the SRO to be assigned based on the following minimum criteria: 1. The SRO must have the ability to deal effectively with a diverse student population. 2. A goal of the SRO program is to xxxxxx a positive image of police officers among young people. 3. The SRO must have the ability to provide good quality educational services in the area of law enforcement and as appropriate within the school environment. The background experience, interest level and communication skills of the SRO must be of a high caliber so that the SRO can effectively and accurately provide appropriate services. 4. The SRO must have the desire and ability to work cooperatively with school principals and other administrative staff and employees. 5. The SRO must be a state certified law enforcement officer and must maintain all state training and accreditation standards, as well as internal department standards and requirements.

Selection of an SRO. At the commencement of this MOU, the designated SRO shall be Officer Xxx Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxxx, the person providing SRO services during the 2022-2023 school year. Any officer providing SRO services following the conclusion of Officer Xxxxxxxxxxx’x SRO assignment shall be selected using the following process: The District shall be invited to designate a District representative to participate in an interview process of the potential SRO candidates. After receiving input from the District’s representative, the Police Chief shall select the officer assigned to serve as SRO on the basis of the following minimum criteria: (1) The ability to effectively deal with a diverse student population; (2) The ability to present a positive image and symbol of the entire law enforcement agency. Therefore, the personality, appearance, and communication skills of the SRO should be of such nature so that a positive image of the agency is reflected. A goal of the SRO program is to xxxxxx a positive image of law enforcement officers among students, school staff and community members; (3) Expressed interest in working with students, school staff and school community members within the scope of the SRO Program; (4) The educational background, experiences, interest level, and communication skills of the SRO must be of a high caliber so that the SRO can effectively and accurately provide high quality educational services in the area of law enforcement; (5) The desire and ability to work effectively in partnership with the principal and other Building and District administrative staff and employees as a team; and (6) Be a general authority peace officer as defined in RCW 43.101.010(10) and RCW 10.93.020(4), who is commissioned to enforce the criminal laws of the state of Washington generally.

The education background, background experience, interest level and communication skills of the SRO must be of a high caliber, such that the SRO can effectively and accurately provide resource teaching services. (4) The SRO must have the desire and ability to work cooperatively with the School Principal and other building administrative staff and employees. (5) The SRO must be a state certified law enforcement officer.

  • Selection of Administrator The Parties have jointly selected CPT Group, Inc. to serve as the Administrator and verified that, as a condition of appointment, CPT Group, Inc. agrees to be bound by this Agreement and to perform, as a fiduciary, all duties specified in this Agreement in exchange for payment of Administration Expenses. The Parties and their Counsel represent that they have no interest or relationship, financial or otherwise, with the Administrator other than a professional relationship arising out of prior experiences administering settlements.

  • Selection of Eligible Foreign Custodian The Delegate shall place and maintain the Fund's Assets with an Eligible Foreign Custodian, provided that the Delegate shall have determined that the Fund's Assets will be subject to reasonable care based on the standards applicable to custodians in the relevant market after considering factors relevant to the safekeeping of such assets including without limitation: (i) The Eligible Foreign Custodian's practices, procedures, and internal controls, including, but not limited to, the physical protections available for certificated securities (if applicable), the controls and procedures for dealing with any Securities Depository, the method of keeping custodial records, and the security and data protection practices; (ii) Whether the Eligible Foreign Custodian has the requisite financial strength to provide reasonable care for the Fund's Assets; (iii) The Eligible Foreign Custodian's general reputation and standing; and (iv) Whether the Fund will have jurisdiction over and be able to enforce judgments against the Eligible Foreign Custodian, such as by virtue of the existence of any offices of such Eligible Foreign Custodian in the United States or such Eligible Foreign Custodian's appointment of an agent for service of process in the United States or consent to jurisdiction in the United States. The Delegate shall be required to make the foregoing determination to the best of its knowledge and belief based only on information reasonably available to it.

  • Selection of an Arbitrator The parties will reach agreement on a mutually acceptable arbitrator as needed. If agreement cannot be obtained between the parties then either party can apply to the Minister of Labour to have an arbitrator appointed.

  • Selection of Mediator A single mediator that is acceptable to both parties shall be used to mediate the dispute. The mediator will be knowledgeable in the subject matter of this Contract, if possible.

  • SELECTION OF ELIGIBLE FOREIGN CUSTODIANS Subject to the provisions of this Section 3.2, the Foreign Custody Manager may place and maintain the Foreign Assets in the care of the Eligible Foreign Custodian selected by the Foreign Custody Manager in each country listed on Schedule A, as amended from time to time. In performing its delegated responsibilities as Foreign Custody Manager to place or maintain Foreign Assets with an Eligible Foreign Custodian, the Foreign Custody Manager shall determine that the Foreign Assets will be subject to reasonable care, based on the standards applicable to custodians in the country in which the Foreign Assets will be held by that Eligible Foreign Custodian, after considering all factors relevant to the safekeeping of such assets, including, without limitation the factors specified in Rule 17f-5(c)(1).

  • Selection of Carrier The selection of the insurance carrier and policy shall be made by the School District as provided by law.

  • Shift Selection Employee assignments within the Patrol Bureau will occur between approximately April 1-15 and shall be awarded based upon seniority. Approximately three (3) months before then the Department will publish a call for written requests on shift assignment. Employees will make their first three (3) choices known. Employees will learn of the assignment, including days off associated with their assignment, immediately after the bidding process is completed. Assignments will take effect on the schedule immediately following July 1st. Residence Hall assignments will be made prior to all others. No officer will be required to work a Residence Hall assignment in consecutive years. Assignment of the remaining officers will begin with selection(s) for day and night shifts. The bid for assignments will continue until all positions are filled. The following general rules apply to assignments: 1. During the term of this Agreement, no employee will be reassigned to a different shift other than the shift awarded by seniority except in situations where the University cannot continue to provide police services. In the event a shift reassignment must occur, it will be offered to volunteers based on seniority. If there are no volunteers it will be assigned to the least senior officer in the department. 2. Shift selection shall be an appropriate subject for the Joint Labor/Management Committee. 3. If a shift becomes available as a result of trainees being released for duty, and if there is at least four (4) months until the next shift change, the shift will be posted and awarded by seniority. The new trainee released for duty will take the senior officers shift. If no employee desires the shift, the trainee scheduled for assignment will be assigned that shift. The parties recognize that for the betterment of the Department it may be necessary to assign a trainee to a specific shift. 4. Voluntary shift trades will be allowed as long as overtime costs are not incurred. 5. Except in a bona fide emergency, no employee shall be assigned to work more than sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period, provided however employees may volunteer to work up to eighteen (18) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period.

  • Selection Criteria Each Contract is secured by a new or used Motorcycle. No Contract has a Contract Rate less than 1.00%. Each Contract amortizes the amount financed over an original term no greater than 84 months (excluding periods of deferral of first payment). Each Contract has a Principal Balance of at least $500.00 as of the Cutoff Date.

  • Selection of Arbitrator Upon the proper submission of a grievance under the terms of this procedure, the parties shall, within ten (10) days after the request to arbitrate, attempt to agree upon the selection of an arbitrator. If no agreement on an arbitrator is reached, either party may request the BMS to appoint an arbitrator, pursuant to PELRA, providing such request is made within twenty (20) days after request for arbitration. The request shall ask that the appointment be made within thirty (30) days after the receipt of said request.
