SENIOR INSPECTOR. Minimum Qualifications: • Eight years of experience in construction inspection, surveying or highway materials testing and inspection or a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Registered Professional Engineer with two years of experience in construction inspection, surveying or highway materials testing and inspection. One or more of the following certifications as necessary and approved by the Region/Area Engineer. Inspectors who are to perform a specific task shall be certified in said field. • Certified Asphalt Technician Level I – Field Tester • Certified Level IIQuality Management Technician • Certified Concrete Technician (ACI and ALDOT Certification) • Certified Asphalt Roadway Technician • Work Zone Safety Certification • Radiological Safety Course Certification • Qualified Credentialed Inspector (QCI) Job Description: This is skilled sub-professional engineering work in the field or office. Employees in said class shall act as the Assistant Project Manager and be responsible for reviewing and directing inspection duties of all project inspectors. The Senior Inspector shall be capable of surveying and drafting, as they apply to documenting and inspection, of a construction project. The Senior Inspector shall report directly to Project Manager. SENIOR INSPECTOR. In addition to the experience, qualifications, licenses, knowledge and skills specified for an Inspector, a Senior Inspector must also possess: • Detailed and explicit knowledge of the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001; • Working knowledge of other relevant legislation such as the Criminal Code Act 1899, and a thorough understanding of the criminal justice system in Queensland as it relates to the treatment of animals; • A proven track record of positive relationships with external agencies such as Police Service, Local and State Government Authorities, Veterinarians, Solicitors and other animal welfare organisations in relation to animal welfare issues on behalf of RSPCA Qld; • The demonstrable ability to support other Inspectors by attending court and assisting with their preparation of evidence and documentation at mentions, hearings and other legal actions, in relation to alleged offences against the ACPA; • A proven capacity to research and report on matters affecting the Inspectorate; • A proven capacity to provide effective operational support to Regional/Metro Inspectors as required; • A proven advanced capacity to investigate complaints and incidents involving problems outside of the experience or capabilities of particular Inspectors; • A proven capacity to gather and assess intelligence on suspects and places, perform surveillance and investigate reports of organised animal cruelty; • A proven capacity to conduct, no less than annually, an efficiency audit of the Inspectorate and report directly to the Chief Inspector;. • The ability to coordinate the maintenance, scheduling and monitoring of all equipment in the Inspectorate (both Regional and Metro) to ensure its correct and continued functioning; • The capacity and willingness to carry out the duties of the Chief Inspector in their absence or when directed; • A Certificate IV in Investigations or equivalent and/or possess equivalent industry experience.

  • Inspector An authorized representative of the Owner or Engineer assigned to make all necessary inspections and/or tests of the work performed or being performed, or of the materials furnished or being furnished by the Contractor.

  • Independent Engineer Contractor shall cooperate with Independent Engineer in the conduct of his or her duties in relation to the Project and the Work, including the duties listed in Attachment CC.   • SCOPE OF INSPECTION The purpose of the inspection is to report the general condition of the home and identify and disclose major defects and deficiencies of the inspected systems and components which existed at the time of the inspection and which are evident to the inspector upon ordinary visual observation. Minor and cosmetic defects may be listed in the report for maintenance purposes but it is not the intent, nor will the inspection report identify and list all minor and cosmetic defects. The inspection is intended to evaluate systems and components of the primary premises. Included with the inspection is the evaluation of primary attached garages/carports/decks/porches/patios. The inspection does not include evaluation of detached garages/carports/patios/decks or other structures unless explicitly specified. The client is encouraged to accompany the inspector during the inspection. Client participation shall be at the client’s risk for personal injury or damage to person or property for any reason or from any cause. The inspection and report are performed and prepared for the sole, confidential and exclusive use and possession of the client(s). The inspection report is not transferable. Systems and components to be inspected include: exposed and visible foundations and structures, exteriors, roofing, plumbing, electrical, attic, interiors, bathrooms and kitchen, basement and crawlspaces, heating and central air conditioning, and garage or carport. LIMITS OF THE INSPECTION The inspection is limited to the readily accessible and visible systems, equipment and components of the home. The inspector will not dismantle and/or move equipment, systems, furniture, appliances, floor coverings, finished or fastened surfaces or components, personal property or other items to conduct this inspection or otherwise to expose concealed or inaccessible conditions. The inspection will not include destructive testing of any kind.

  • Right to Have Union Representative Present (a) An employee shall have the right to have her xxxxxxx present at any discussion with supervisory personnel which the employee believes might be the basis of disciplinary action. Where a supervisor intends to interview an employee for disciplinary purposes, the supervisor shall make every effort to notify the employee in advance of the purpose of the interview in order that the employee may contact her xxxxxxx, providing that this does not result in an undue delay of the appropriate action being taken. This clause shall not apply to those discussions that are of an operational nature and do not involve disciplinary action.
