Seniority Tie Breaker. The Employer and the Union agree that where there is a tie in seniority between two (2) or more Employees, a determination of seniority shall be made in the following manner: (a) Where two (2) or more regular Employees whose start date as regular Employees is the same, auxiliary, substitute and temporary seniority of each Employee shall be referred to for the purpose of determining the order of seniority of the regular Employees involved. (b) Where a seniority tie is not resolved by (a) above, a game of chance shall be administered jointly by the shop xxxxxxx and a representative from the Human Resources Department.
