Common use of Shared Leave Clause in Contracts

Shared Leave. Employees shall be permitted to transfer a portion of their accrued vacation leave and/or sick leave to the account of another employee who is suffering from serious injury and/or illness in accordance with WAC 000-000-000 through 104. Should the Legislature or the Superintendent of Public Instruction modify or eliminate this benefit, such modification or elimination shall apply to this Agreement.
