Common use of Shift Change Clause in Contracts

Shift Change. A shift will be deemed to be established providing at least four (4) consecutive days of a shift are to be worked excluding Saturdays, Sundays and recognized holidays. If an employee is removed from their scheduled shift prior to completing four (4) consecutive shifts, the employee will be paid shift differential for the balance of the four (4) consecutive shifts that would have been worked had the employee not been reassigned.
