Common use of Shift Work Overtime Clause in Contracts

Shift Work Overtime. 28.4.1 An Employee engaged on Shift work must be paid at overtime rates instead of the shift loading if: a) the Employee has not had a least 48 hours’ notice of Shift work; or b) the Shift worker is not regular shift worker (as defined in this Agreement); or c) the Shift work is performed outside the Employee’s ordinary hours of work.
