Sick Leave Accumulation. Employees hired prior to January 1, 2019 Sick leave shall accumulate for all employees at the rate of one and one-half (1½) days per month up to a maximum accumulation of one hundred and eighty (180) days. Upon termination or retirement, the employer shall pay out, at the current pay rates, forty percent (40%) of the unused accumulated sick days to the employee. Temporary and casual employees are not entitled to sick leave at the following rates: 0-5 years 120 hours per year (15 days) 6-10 years 130 hours per year (16 days)with pay.
