Sick Leave Credit. All regular full-time or regular part-time employees may use their sick leave credit in any month of the year in which they are scheduled to be on the payroll, but only for the number of working days in such month for which they are scheduled to be and are on duty at the University. Employees may use available accumulated sick time to attend to ill or injured family members (family member for these purposes is the same as defined in Article 31-1). Any utilization of sick leave allowance by the employee must have the approval of the department.
