Sick Leave Deductions. Faculty members shall have deductions from accrued sick leave only for absences due to personal injury, illness, exposure to contagious disease which could be communicated to other employees and for serious illness or injury to an immediate family member, including a registered same-sex domestic partner or the child of a registered same-sex domestic partner.
