Sick Leave Deductions. Deductions from sick leave shall be made at the rate determined by the type of shift the employee is absent from. For example, eleven and one-quarter (11.25) hours will be deducted when absent from a twelve (12) hour shift that was scheduled, or seven and one-half (7.5) hours will be deducted from an eight (8) hour shift that was scheduled.
