Special or Compassionate Leave. 13.1 (a) The Employer may grant leave of absence with pay for not more than six (6) days in any attendance year as defined in Article 9.1 to an employee upon any special or compassionate grounds and the period of the leave shall be charged against the attendance credits of the employee unless otherwise herein provided.
