STAFF, WORKMEN & EMPLOYEES. 13.1 All the permanent employees of the Transferor Companies, who are in service on the date immediately preceding the Effective Date shall, on and from the Effective Date become and be engaged as the employees of the Transferee Company, without any break or interruption in service as a result of the transfer and on terms and conditions not less favourable than those on which they are engaged by the Transferor Companies immediately preceding the Effective Date. Services of the employees of the Transferor Companies shall be taken into account from the date of their respective appointment with the Transferor Companies for the purposes of all retirement benefits and all other entitlements for which they may be eligible. The Transferee Company further agrees that for the purpose of payment of any retrenchment compensation, if any, such past services with the Transferor Companies shall also be taken into account.

STAFF, WORKMEN & EMPLOYEES. 13.1 On the Scheme being effective, the Employees of the Transferor Company, who are employed in relation to the SDD Alcohol Undertaking (“Transferred Employees”), as on the Appointed date shall be deemed to have ceased to be employees of the Transferor Company, and the Transferee Company shall be deemed to have employed such Employees on the same terms and conditions on which they are engaged by the Transferor Company, (including in relation to the level of remuneration and contractual and statutory benefits, incentive plans, terminal benefits, gratuity plans, provident plans, superannuation plans and any other retirement benefits) without any interruption in service as a result of transfer of such Employees to the Transferee Company.
STAFF, WORKMEN & EMPLOYEES. 10.1. On the Scheme becoming operative, all staff, workmen and employees of AFL, in relation to the Radio Business in service on the Effective Date shall be deemed to have become staff, workmen and employees of RUL without any break in their service and on the basis of continuity of service, and the terms and conditions of their employment with RUL shall not be less favourable than those applicable to them with reference to AFL, in relation to the Radio Business respectively on the Effective Date.

  • Project Employees Project employees who have not held permanent civil service status within the job classification, will not volunteer for or be assigned overtime work outside of the project. Required overtime within a project may first be assigned to qualified employees within the project by seniority. The process for assigning the overtime will follow the procedures outlined in this Article.

  • Food Service Employees School year food service employees shall be entitled to the following paid vacation schedule:

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime.
