Common use of STAND DOWN Clause in Contracts

STAND DOWN. The Company is entitled to deduct payment for any day the Company considers that the Employee cannot be usefully employed because of any strike, or any breakdown in machinery, or any stoppage of work by any cause which ceases operation for which the Company cannot be reasonably held responsible, having reviewed the situation and having no reasonable alternative work available.

STAND DOWN. The Company is entitled will have the right to deduct payment for any day the Company considers that the day, or part day, an Employee cannot be usefully employed because of any strike, a strike or through any breakdown in machinery, machinery or any stoppage of work, including but not limited to circumstances where the Company is prevented from transporting Employees to the work site, by any cause which ceases operation for which the Company cannot reasonably be reasonably held responsible, having reviewed the situation and having no reasonable alternative work available.

(i) The Company is entitled shall have the right to deduct payment for any day during which the Company considers that the Employee employee cannot be usefully employed because of any strike, strike or through any breakdown in machinery, of machinery or any stoppage of work by due to any cause which ceases operation for which the Company cannot reasonably be reasonably held responsible, having reviewed responsible and after conferring with the situation and having no reasonable alternative work availablesite delegates and/or employee representatives.
