Standby/Call Back Pay. An employee required to remain on controlled standby and required to ensure his/her availability for work shall receive one half (½) the straight time hourly rate for the actual hours scheduled on controlled standby. If called to work when on "standby," an employee shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours' work or pay at the rate of time and one half (1½) the straight time hourly rate. An employee instructed to be on "standby" on a paid holiday shall receive three quarters (¾) time for such standby.

  • Call Back Pay Employees who are called to report to work on their regular day off or that have been recalled to work after having left the Employer's premises, shall be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours of pay plus travel time at the regular rate of pay for actual hours worked or at the applicable overtime rate, whichever is greater. Employees who are currently guaranteed a minimum of pay greater than two (2) hours shall continue to be paid at the greater minimum. Should the employee be paid for at least eight hours, travel time shall not be paid.

  • Standby Pay Standby pay shall be at the rate of four ($4.00) dollars per hour. An additional two dollars ($2) per hour will be paid for all hours of standby assigned by the Employer beyond seventy-five (75) hours in a pay period. Standby pay shall be paid for actual hours on standby prior to reporting for duty. Standby pay shall not be paid when the nurse is receiving the four (4) hour minimum callback guarantee, even though the nurse has returned to standby status.

  • Back Pay The resolution of a grievance shall not include provisions for back pay retroactive further than twenty (20) working days prior to the date the grievance is filed. However, if with the exercise of reasonable diligence the act or omission being grieved was not discovered within 10 working days of its occurrence, and the grievance is subsequently timely filed pursuant to Section 3, then the resolution of the grievance may include provision for back pay for a maximum period of one year from the date the grievance was filed.

  • Callback Pay When an employee is called back to work after having completed their normal workday, they shall be granted a minimum of two (2) hours pay at time and one half. This provision shall not apply when the hours worked are an extension of the employee's workday.

  • Standby An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of $2.00 per hour for all hours on standby.   • Call Back From Vacation (a) Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in cases of extreme emergency. (b) When, during any vacation period, an employee is recalled to duty, he/she shall be reimbursed for all expenses incurred thereby by himself/herself, in proceeding to his/her place of duty and in returning to the place from which he/she was recalled upon resumption of vacation, upon submission of receipts (except for meals) to the Employer. (c) Time necessary for travel in returning to his/her place of duty and returning again to the place from which he/she was recalled shall not be counted against his/her remaining vacation entitlement.

  • Standby Duty (a) An employee shall be on standby duty when required to be available for work outside their normal working hours, and subject to restrictions consistent with the FLSA which would prevent the employee from using the time while on standby duty effectively for the employee’s own purposes. (b) Compensation for standby duty shall be at FLSA-eligible employee’s straight time rate of pay or for FLSA-exempt employees hour for hour compensatory time off. Overtime hours shall be at the appropriate overtime pay rate pursuant to Article 32.

  • Call Back Compensation (a) Call back is an occasion where an employee has been released from duty and is called back to work prior to his/her normal starting time. On such occasions, the employee’s scheduled or recognized shift shall be made available for work, except that the Agency shall not be obligated to work the employee more than twelve (12) consecutive hours and the employee may choose not to work more than twelve (12) consecutive hours, excluding meal periods, of combined call back time and regular shift time. (b) An employee who is called back to work outside his/her scheduled workshift shall be paid a minimum of the equivalent of two (2) hours pay at the overtime rate of pay computed from when the employee actually begins work. After two (2) hours work, in each call back situation, the employee shall be compensated at the appropriate rate of pay for time worked. (c) This provision does not apply to telephone calls at home or overtime work which is essentially a continuation of the scheduled workshift.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Lower Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains the existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation. 2. If the employee chooses to vacate the position or does not meet the skills and abilities requirements of the position, the layoff procedure specified in Article 31 of this Agreement applies.

  • Minimum Call-Back Time All employees who are called out and required to work in an emergency outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates and shall be paid from the time they leave home to report for duty until the time they arrive back upon proceeding directly from work.
