STARTING ON THE JOB. All employees may be required to start and finish on the job by mutual agreement. • Employees will not be disadvantaged by the inability to use a personal vehicle. • Consideration will be given to where employees are required to start to minimise the distance travelled to and from work. • So as not to disadvantage an employee, if they are directed by a Works Supervisor to start on the job at a worksite or depot that is greater than five (5) kilometres in distance from their home than to their normal depot, the employee will be paid a travelling allowance of $25 per day if their personal vehicle is used.   • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading calculated on the rate of wage prescribed by subclause 7.1.3. The loading shall be as follows:

  • Starting Date Unless a specific (fixed) starting date is duly justified and agreed upon during the preparation of the Grant Agreement, the project will start on the first day of the month following the entry info force of the Grant Agreement (NB : entry into force = signature by the Commission).
