Long Service Leave 6. 1.1 Employees covered by this Agreement derive their long service entitlements from the South Australian Long Service Leave Act of 1987. Long Service Leave 6. 3.1 Where an employee’s contracted weekly hours or classification are reduced, then Long Service Leave accrued from their commencement date shall be calculated and preserved.

  • Long Service Leave All employees shall be entitled to long service leave in accordance with the relevant State Legislation. The employer will ensure that any registration necessary for the purposes of portable long service schemes will be undertaken.

  • Military Service Leave The Employer and the Union agree that the matter of leave of absence for an employee during the period of his/her military service with the armed forces of the United States, and of his/her reinstatement thereafter, shall be governed by applicable statutes.

  • Taking of Long Service Leave (a) The employer shall give to each employee at least one month's notice of the date from which it is proposed that the employee's long service leave shall be given and taken. Such leave shall be taken as soon as practicable having regard to the needs of the facility, or, where the employer and the employee agree, such leave may be postponed to an agreed date.

  • Jury Service Leave 6.18.1 An employee, other than a casual employee, required to attend for jury service during their ordinary working hours shall be reimbursed by the employer an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of their attendance for such jury service and the ordinary pay the employee would have been paid if the employee was not absent on jury service.

  • Laundry Service If the Government provides a laundry service at the incident base camp, the Contractor may utilize the service at no cost.

  • Long Service The applicable rate of pay for Long Service Leave will be the corresponding rate of pay in Appendix 1(A).

  • Long Service Payment (i) If the Principal has twenty-five years service or more he/she shall be paid a lump sum of six months ordinary pay (taxable salary) plus one week’s ordinary pay for each complete year of service. The maximum amount payable under this clause shall not exceed salary for one year. PROVIDED that if the Principal, following closure, begins permanent employment in the Education Service before the expiry of the period of weeks for which a long service payment has been made, the Principal shall refund the portion of the long service payment which represents the difference between the period for which the payment was made and the number of weeks without employment.

  • Uniformed Service Shared Leave Pool Eligible state employees may donate leave to the uniformed services shared leave pool for use by state employees who have been called to active duty in one of the uniformed services of the United States.   • Community Service Leave Community service leave is provided for in the NES.
