Station and Shift. Bid Process: By October 1st of each year, every bargaining unit employee will submit in writing to the Fire Chief their bid request for Station [When Applicable] and/or Shift assignments for the following year. By November 1st of each year, the Fire Chief will post the annual Station & Shift assignments for the following year. The Fire Chief will align Stations/Shifts based on seniority and qualifications; however, the Fire Chief has the discretion to align Stations/Shifts to accommodate the needs of the department. It is understood that station bidding will be further limited by the unique roles and specialty assignments to that station.

The Fire Chief will align Stations/Shifts based on seniority and qualifications; however, the Fire Chief has the discretion to align Stations/Shifts to accommodate the needs of the department. It is understood that station bidding will be further limited by the unique roles and specialty assignments to that station. In the event vacancies occurs during the year causing the shifts to no longer be reasonably balanced (by seniority and/or qualifications) the Fire Chief will notify the Union of the need to rebalance the shifts. If the Union disagrees with the Chief’s determination of need, it shall notify the chief within two (2) weeks and the issue will be referred to the LMC process. Once an imbalance is confirmed, The Chief shall post the need to fill the vacancy(ies) for a two-week period to allow for voluntary bids. If no volunteer bids are received, the Fire Chief has the ability to reassign the employee(s) to the new shift/station assignment to fill the needs of the department normally given the employee a 30-day notice. The Chief shall rebalance the shifts by the least amount of impact on the unit employees. The Fire Chief may use the same process should a long-term temporary vacancy of six (6) months or more occur that creates an adverse impact on the normal operations of the department Once the shift/station imbalance or long-term (temporary) vacancy has been resolved by new hires/per diems or the absent employee returns to work, the Unit Employee that was transferred my return to their original station/shift assignment before the transfer.

  • ACCESS TO OPERATIONS SUPPORT SYSTEMS 2.1 BellSouth shall provide Max-Tel access to operations support systems (“OSS”) functions for pre-ordering, ordering and provisioning, maintenance and repair, and billing. BellSouth shall provide access to the OSS through manual and/or electronic interfaces as described in this Attachment. It is the sole responsibility of Max-Tel to obtain the technical capability to access and utilize BellSouth’s OSS interfaces. Specifications for Max-Tel ’s access and use of BellSouth’s electronic Version R4Q01: 12/01/01 interfaces are set forth at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx and are incorporated herein by reference.

  • PACKING AND SHIPPING a. Seller shall pack the goods and materials to prevent damage and deterioration. Unless otherwise set forth in this Contract, Seller shall package the goods in accordance with the requirements of Boeing Document D37522-6 “Supplier Packaging”. Buyer may charge Seller for damage to or deterioration of any goods resulting from improper packing or packaging.

  • PACKING AND SHIPMENT (a) Unless otherwise specified, all Work is to be packed in accordance with good commercial practice.

  • Sanitation and Servicing Purchaser shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent pollution of air, soil, and water by Purchaser’s Operations. If facilities for employees are established on Sale Area, they shall be operated in a sanitary manner. In the event that Purchaser’s Operations or servicing of equipment result in pollution to soil or water, Purchaser shall conduct cleanup and restoration of the polluted site to the satisfaction of Forest Service. Purchaser shall maintain all equipment operating on Sale Area in good repair and free of abnormal leakage of lubricants, fuel, coolants, and hydraulic fluid. Purchaser shall not service tractors, trucks, or other equipment on National Forest lands where servicing is likely to result in pollution to soil or water. Purchaser shall furnish oil- absorbing mats for use under all stationary equipment or equipment being serviced to prevent leaking or spilled petroleum-based products from contaminating soil and water resources. Purchaser shall remove from National Forest lands all contaminated soil, vegetation, debris, vehicle oil filters (drained of free-flowing oil), batteries, oily rags, and waste oil resulting from use, servicing, repair, or abandonment of equipment.

  • Start-Up and Synchronization Consistent with the mutually acceptable procedures of the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer is responsible for the proper synchronization of the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System in accordance with NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner procedures and requirements.

  • Joint Network Implementation and Grooming Process Upon request of either Party, the Parties shall jointly develop an implementation and grooming process (the “Joint Grooming Process” or “Joint Process”) which may define and detail, inter alia:

  • Education and Prevention 6.1 The policy will be discussed and put forward for adoption on site at a meeting of all workers.

  • TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVEL TIME 12.01 The Employer will provide transportation to and from jobs from the Employer’s shop. If an employee’s car is used for such transportation, the owner shall be paid fifty cents (50¢) per kilometre for such use.
