Step 1 - Nurse and Immediate Supervisor. If any nurse has a grievance, as defined herein, the nurse shall first present the grievance in writing to the nurse’s immediate supervisor (with a copy to the Employer’s Human Resources Department) within eighteen (18) calendar days from the date that the nurse was aware that the grievance existed. The written grievance shall contain a description of the alleged contract violation, the date it occurred and the corrective action the grievant is requesting. Upon receipt thereof, the immediate supervisor shall attempt to immediately resolve the problem and shall respond in writing to the nurse and the designated Local Unit Officer within fourteen (14) calendar days following receipt of the written grievance.

Step 1 - Nurse and Immediate Supervisor. It is the desire of the parties to this Agreement that grievances be adjusted informally whenever possible and at the first level of supervision. If any nurse has a grievance, the nurse shall first submit it in writing to his or her immediate supervisor within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date the nurse was or should have been aware a grievance existed. The supervisor shall respond in writing within seven (7) calendar days.
Step 1 - Nurse and Immediate Supervisor. If a nurse has a grievance, the nurse and the unit/union representative shall first put the grievance in writing and discuss it with her/his immediate supervisor within fourteen (14) calendar days of becoming aware of a grievable matter. A bargaining unit officer may be present at this Step one meeting if requested by the nurse. The written grievance shall contain a description of the alleged problem, the date it occurred, the provision in the Agreement allegedly violated, and the corrective action the grievant is requesting. A response in writing will be given within fourteen (14) days of the meeting by the immediate supervisor.

  • Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.

Within ten (10) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within ten (10) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall file a formal written grievance.   • Level Three - Superintendent Within ten (10) days of receipt of the decision rendered by the Executive Director of Human Resources, any party in interest may appeal the Director’s decision to the Superintendent, or designee, on forms provided by the School District and the Association. The Contractor is therefore required to notify Jobcentre Plus when recruiting staff for any entry-level job vacancies located within Great Britain, which may arise from the delivery of their contract to the Authority.

  • Procurement Related Complaints and Administrative Review 49.1 The procedures for making a Procurement-related Complaint are as specified in the TDS.

  • SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL All supervisors and foremen shall be excluded from the bargaining unit and will not perform any work which falls within the scope of this Agreement. When supervisors and foremen are appointed, a notice to that effect will be posted and maintained on a bulletin board.

  • Board-Superintendent Relationship The Board shall be primarily responsible for formulating and adopting policy. The Superintendent shall be the chief administrative officer for the district and shall be responsible for implementing Board policy. He shall organize the administrative and supervisory staff, and select, place, and transfer personnel with the concurrence of the Board. He is responsible for administering the instruction of students and the business affairs of the school district. The Board members agree, individually and collectively, to promptly refer all criticisms, complaints, and suggestions called to their attention to the Superintendent for action, study and/or recommendation, as appropriate.

  • Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.
