Step 3 - Administrator and Association Representative. Within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of the Step 2 response, if the nurse is not satisfied with the reply in Step 2, the nurse (or a local unit officer) may present the written grievance to the Hospital Administrator or designee. The nurse, local unit officer and the Association representative shall meet with the Hospital Administrator or designee within fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of the Step 3 submission for the purpose of resolving the grievance. The Association may initiate a grievance at Step 3 if the grievance involves a group of nurses and if the grievance is submitted in writing within twenty (20) calendar days from the date the nurses were or should have been aware a grievance existed. The Hospital Administrator or designee shall respond in writing within ten‌‌ (10) calendar days after the Step 3 meeting.
