STEWARDS AND PLANT. Union to appoint or otherwise select stewards from amongst the permanent employees who have two years of service, for the purpose of assisting employees in presenting grievances to the Company as set forth in this Agreement. The Company will one ste- xxxx on each shift in each department, providing that there are at least seven employees regularly scheduled for work on each shift in each department. The departments are: Can Line Quality Control Shipping and Receiving Press and Shearing Machine Shop, Electrical, Stores and D&l The Company will a Plant Com- mittee of not more than five employees which may include officers of the Union. The Company shall be notified in writing by the Union of the names of all Union Represen- tatives including stewards, officers and commit- tee members, and the Company shall not be required to any Union Representative until it has been so notified. It is agreed that the Union Representatives shall continue to perform their regular work in order to maintain efficiency of operations, how- ever, in accordance with this understanding, should it be necessary to assist an employee in presenting a grievance during working hours, they will not leave their work without first obtaining the permission of their immediate supervisor, provided that such permission will not be unreasonably withheld. It is also understood that a Union Representative shall not enter another depart- ment without first obtaining the permission of the supervisor of such department and notifying him as to the nature of the grievance and the personnel involved. Prior to returning to his own department, a Union Representative will report to his immediate supervisor. Because the Union does not want to inter with production it will not allow any of its officers or members to carry on Union activities during working hours except as provided else- where in this Agreement. However, the depart- ment stewards or members of the Plant Commit- tee will be allowed such reasonable time off from their regular duties without loss of pay as is necessary in the handling and investigating of grievances.

STEWARDS AND PLANT. Negotiating Committee members, when they wish to leave their regular duties to investigate and negotiate grievances under the terms of this Agreement shall first advise the Xxxxxxx of the department where they are employed and the Xxxxxxx of the department they are entering. Time spent during working hours by a member of the Xxxxxxx body or Plant Negotiating Committee in connection with the administration of this Agreement will be paid for at his regular rate. The Plant Manager may decline to approve payment for any excessive or unreasonable amount of time taken by any employee in carrying out the terms of this grievance procedure. Whenever “regular rate” appears for payment of Union activities, it shall mean hourly rate for hourly rated workers and objective rate for piece workers.

  • Access to Project Site Redeveloper shall permit the representatives of the City to enter Project Site at any and all reasonable times, as the City may deem necessary for the purposes of this Redevelopment Agreement, including but not limited to work and inspection of all work being performed in connection with the construction of the Redeveloper Improvements. Similarly, the City shall permit Redeveloper such entry upon the public rights of way for such purposes. No compensation shall be payable nor shall any charges be made in any form by any party for the access or inspection provided for in this Section. The City’s right of access granted under this Section shall terminate upon issuance by the City of the Redeveloper’s Certificate of Completion of Redeveloper Improvements. Notwithstanding the above, Redeveloper shall not be relieved of the provisions contained in Chapter 14.29 of the Lincoln Municipal Code regarding the use of streets for private construction purposes.

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Access to Worksite 9.4.1 Authorized representatives of the Association shall have the right to transact official Association business on school property during regular school business hours provided that such activities or use do not interfere with classroom instruction or interrupt normal operations.

  • Access to Work District representatives shall at all times have access to the Work, wherever it is, in preparation or in progress. Contractor shall provide safe and proper facilities for such access.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager 7.2.1 The Contractor’s Project Manager is designated in Exhibit F (Contractor’s Administration). The Contractor shall notify the County in writing of any change in the name or address of the Contractor’s Project Manager.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.   • Inspection of Plant The State Purchasing Agent or his/her designee may inspect, at any reasonable time, the part of the Contractor's, or any subcontractor's plant or place of business, which is related to the performance of this contract.

  • Condition of the Contractor’s Property or Equipment The Contractor shall make the Property and/or equipment available to the Judicial Council, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. The Contractor shall immediately remedy any problem with the Property’s physical plant or equipment that impairs or diminishes the quality of the Program. The Contractor shall ensure the appropriate hot water, heating, and ventilation is provided at the Property during the Program, inclusive in the prices set forth herein.
