Regular Work. An employee’s regular workday or regular work week will be the employee’s scheduled hours of work under the job- sharing arrangement. Time worked by an employee outside her scheduled hours of work will be compensated at the regular rate of pay. Only hours worked in excess of seven and a quarter (7 ¼) hours per day or thirty-six and a quarter (36 ¼) hours per week will be considered as overtime in accordance with Article 15.
Regular Work a) The normal scheduled work week will be thirty-seven decimal five (37.5) hours and the normal scheduled work day will be seven decimal five (7.5) consecutive hours, exclusive of a meal period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
b) For office employees and employees who are not involved with service to the public, the normal work week is from Monday to Friday and the normal work day is seven decimal five (7.5) hours between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
c) For employees who are involved with service to the public, their scheduled work week will be thirty-seven decimal five (37.5) hours and the scheduled work day will be seven decimal five (7.5) consecutive hours, exclusive of a meal period, with two (2) consecutives days off which may not necessarily be Saturday and Sunday. For further clarity, it is understood that at least once over each period of twenty-eight (28) calendar days, full time employees shall be scheduled two (2) consecutive days off, which shall be a Friday Saturday, Saturday Sunday or a Sunday Monday combination.
d) Employees shall be informed by written notice of their scheduled hours of work. Any changes to the scheduled hours shall be by written notice to the employee(s) concerned.
e) Subject to operational requirements as determined from time to time by the Employer, an employee shall have the right to request flexible hours and such request shall not be unreasonably denied.
Regular Work. 1. The definition of regular work is: those tasks that are to be carried out, either in the engine room or on deck, which the seafarer was employed for.
2. Regular work also includes –even if this is not in accordance with the position which the seafarer was employed for– all those tasks listed in Article 12, paragraph 2.

Shift premium will be as follows: Graveyard a.m. Afternoon Shift On a two (2) shift operation, the next shift premium will apply two (2) overtime hours in any one day. Each employee except for the corrugator crew shall receive a paid twenty (20) minute lunch period. The Company will notify an employee at least eight (8) hours before reporting to work when his shift has been changed. This condition will not apply when an employee is called in because of an emergency due to the illness or absenteeism of another employees.

An employee may accumulate up to hours at any one time, which may be taken off at a time mutually agreed upon by the employee and supervisor. Should overtime work be required it shall be shared as equitably as possible among those employees who are usually engaged in the work.
