Strategy Overview Sample Clauses

Strategy Overview. The fundamental trade setup requires a string of adjacent candles to display consecutive higher lows (HL) or lower highs (LH). Once price breaks out of that mini trend in the opposite direction, a trade is entered (subject to additional strategy settings) in the direction of the breakout. If a higher high or a lower low occurs before the required minimum number of consecutive bars occurs then the pattern is invalidated and the count resets to zero. Additional strategy settings provide flexibility as to how selective you want to be about the signals that are generated. Here is a close up example to illustrate the pattern: A series of consecutive lower highs eventually terminates when price breaks to the upside, triggering a long trade. A series of consecutive HL’s eventually terminates when price breaks to the downside, triggering a short trade. The fundamental setup is flexible in that it allows you to set the required number of consecutive HL’s or LH’s. This allows you to control the frequency of trade signals as well as the entry location and stop and target placement. This is an optimizable parameter meaning that you can perform testing on historical data to get a good starting value for this setting and then you can further refine it by conducting forward tests and sim trading. The next section explains the options available for configuring the strategy. Configuring the Strategy Here are the basic steps for configuring the strategy that should be completed before running the strategy: • Entry Conditions – This involves deciding how many bars are required to have consecutive HL’s/LH’s as well as an Entry Offset from the breakout point • Stop Placement – This is where you define where the Stop will be located for each trade • Setting Target Location – There are 3 methods available for placing up to 3 Targets for each trade entry • Determine Trade Size – You can always trade the same quantity for each trade or you can have the software automatically adjust the trade size based on a fixed amount of risk per trade • Order Management – Choose market or limit orders to enter positions as well as control actions taken when opposite signals are encountered • Apply Signal Filters – Select from a variety of directional filters to enhance performance • Apply Money Management – Protect capital using Max Daily Loss including a High Watermark feature What follows is a more detailed overview of each step.

Strategy Overview. The dissemination strategy is based, in a first phase in the identification of target groups at different territorial levels, European, national and regional level to achieve a coherent and effective dissemination according to the general approach described in chapter 1.2. The main aim of the dissemination strategy is the dissemination and exploitation of knowledge amongst the project partners and knowledge transfer to the interested stakeholders. The present strategy is designed in a 7 step process:  Identify crucial target groups and bodies that are potentially interested in the project;  identify the communication needs of each target groups;  establish core project messages to be disseminated in the specific target groups. Disseminate the results, solutions and knowledge collected within a project to the general audience;  identify dissemination methods, tools and channels;  define timing and define partners’ responsibilities.
