String Rotation Sample Clauses

String Rotation. (a) The seating shall be on a periodically rotating basis throughout the year for all members of the string sections other than the first two stands of the first violin, second violin, xxxxx, and cello sections and the first stand of the double bass section. (b) Rotation shall occur in the following manner: the outside player moves up one stand, the inside player moves back one stand. This movement is circular: clockwise for the violas, xxxxx, and basses; and counter-clockwise for the violins. (c) This rotation revolving system shall be continued unless changes thereto are mutually agreed. Members of the string sections who rotate shall be listed in the programme in alphabetical order. (d) Notwithstanding anything else in Article 6.5.1, it is understood that seating is at all times the prerogative of the Music Director, which for certainty includes his right to require a section to rotate. (e) With regard to tours, string players shall remain in their positions for the duration of the tour, including rehearsals and concerts of the tour programme repertoire prior to departure. (f) For non-rotating players and/or non-rotating sections, individual string seating will be distributed with the personal contracts, but will not become a part of the personal contract. (g) Services off for string players as a result of reduced string section assignments will be implemented as fairly, equitably, and logically as possible; but it is recognized that artistic considerations may require alterations in the ordering of string rotation from time to time at the discretion of the Music Director.

String Rotation. Rotational seating will apply to the first and second violin sections and will involve all contracted players within each section up to but not including the first desk of each section. Non-contracted players will be seated at the discretion of the Music Director in consultation with the section principal. The rotation is to occur by program, but may be suspended if the Music Director and section principal agree that assigned seating is required for a particular program due to the nature of the repertoire involved. A seating plan will be distributed with the music prior to each season. Similar rotation may be applied to the xxxxx and cello sections at the discretion of the Music Director in consultation with the section principal. The Personnel Manager must be informed thirty (30) days in advance of the season.
String Rotation. VSO shall utilize a String Rotation system specifically designed to employ MEMBER section string players equally for all services offered by the VSO. Fair and equal distribution is the goal, including preference to MEMBERS by the Personnel Manager in late date hiring where substitution is involved. (See 6.2) Seating is assigned by a rotational system, with the exception of the Principals and Assistant Principals in a given section, which shall remain fixed. Principal Xxxxx, Principal Cello and Principal Bass shall be responsible for assigning seating in their respective sections. MEMBER Violins (except for the first stands) will rotate between the first and second sections. If there is an even number of MEMBER violins, there will be an even split between firsts and seconds, and if there is an odd number, there will be one more first than second. The order of rotation will progress uninterrupted from season to season, with new MEMBERS added at the end of the sequence as they are hired. The rotation will include every Concert Series Set (typically eight (8) per season): five (5) Masterworks, Made in Vermont, Holiday Pops, Summer Festival Tour. For extra concerts inserted into a concert set (such as the Xxxxx Youth Concerts), the seating for that concert week will prevail. Violinists rotate between sections in a "counter-clockwise" motion, moving "up" the inside and "down" the outside chairs for each concert, like a bicycle chain. If a Musician misses a concert, a substitute player will be seated in his/her chair. Otherwise, substitutes are seated behind MEMBERS.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Xxxx has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Xxxx. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for Xxxx (e.g. hairpinning): 1. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to any spare copper that exists to the customer premises. 2. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to an existing DLC that is not integrated. 3. If capacity exists, provide "side-door" porting through the switch. 4. If capacity exists, provide "Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACS)- door" porting (if the IDLC routes through a DACS prior to integration into the switch). 2.6.2 Arrangements 3 and 4 above require the use of a designed circuit. Therefore, non- designed Loops such as the SL1 voice grade and UCL-ND may not be ordered in these cases. 2.6.3 If no alternate facility is available, and upon request from Xxxx, and if agreed to by both Parties, BellSouth may utilize its Special Construction (SC) process to determine the additional costs required to provision facilities.
