Student PlacementTeaching Commitment. The University and the Site agree to work together in a reciprocal planning process to determine the appropriate number of Student Placementsteaching placements by program and in the context of curriculum requirements. Teaching Programs will prepare annually a curricula outline and proposed Student Placementsteaching placements at the Site. The Placement of Students will be based on pedagogic interests, including the need for a wide range of learning experiences, and on requirements of applicable regulatory bodies, and subject to the Site’s ability to offer such instruction and/or experience. The University will deliver the proposed list of Student Placementsteaching placements to the Site at least 10 months in advance of the start of each academic year for each program.ordinarily commencing July 1. The Site will consider whether it can accommodate the proposed Student Placementsteaching placements, and the Site and the University will negotiate in good faith to reach agreement on the proposed list of Student Placementsteaching placements at least 8 months in advance of the start of each academic year. commencing July 1. Any subsequent changes to the list of Student Placementsteaching placements will be agreed upon by the program leader of the cognate University Faculty, departmentDepartment or program and the leader of the equivalent program or department at the Site at least 4 months in advance of the start of the academic year. If agreement cannot be reached at any stage, the appropriate Xxxx or Director, or, if relevant, department Chair (in Faculties where there are multiple departments), and the [title] will endeavour to negotiate an agreement. The parties recognize that, in the event of a situation described in the 4th paragraph of section XVI below (such as a communicable disease outbreak), the parties might have to suspend performing their obligations to teach or place Students (in accordance with the provisions of that paragraph).   • TEACHING FACILITIES 4.1 The Board agrees to maintain health and safety conditions at each school site in compliance with applicable statutes and/or regulations. Teachers shall not be required to work under unsafe conditions as determined by proper regulatory authority.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term. The following equivalencies will be used in determining teaching assignments:

  • Additional Public Interest Commitments Registry Operator shall comply with the public interest commitments set forth in Specification 11 attached hereto (“Specification 11”).

  • Commitment Within 20 days after the Title Company receives a copy of this contract, Seller shall furnish to Buyer a commitment for title insurance (Commitment) and, at Buyer's expense, legible copies of restrictive covenants and documents evidencing exceptions in the Commitment (Exception Documents) other than the standard printed exceptions. Seller authorizes the Title Company to deliver the Commitment and Exception Documents to Buyer at Buyer's address shown in Paragraph 21. If the Commitment and Exception Documents are not delivered to Buyer within the specified time, the time for delivery will be automatically extended up to 15 days or 3 days before the Closing Date, whichever is earlier. If the Commitment and Exception Documents are not delivered within the time required, Buyer may terminate this contract and the xxxxxxx money will be refunded to Buyer.

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.

  • No Commitment None of the provisions of this Agreement shall be deemed or construed to constitute or imply any commitment or obligation on the part of the Lender to make any future loans or other extensions of credit or financial accommodations to the Borrower.

  • DVBE Commitment This section is applicable if Contractor received a disabled veteran business enterprise (“DVBE”) incentive in connection with this Agreement. Contractor’s failure to meet the DVBE commitment set forth in its bid or proposal constitutes a breach of the Agreement. If Contractor used DVBE subcontractor(s) in connection with this Agreement: (i) Contractor must use the DVBE subcontractors identified in its bid or proposal, unless the JBE approves in writing replacement by another DVBE subcontractor in accordance with the terms of this Agreement; and (ii) Contractor must complete and return to the JBE a post-contract certification form promptly upon completion of the awarded contract, and by no later than the date of submission of Contractor’s final invoice to the JBE. (The post-contract certification form is located at: xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xx.xxx/documents/JBCM-Post- Contract-Certification-Form.docx) If the Contractor fails to do so, the JBE will withhold $10,000 from the final payment, or withhold the full payment if it is less than $10,000, until the Contractor submits a complete and accurate post-contract certification form. The JBE shall allow the Contractor to cure the deficiency after written notice of the Contractor’s failure to complete and submit an accurate post- contract certification form. Notwithstanding the foregoing and any other law, if after at least 15 calendar days, but no more than 30 calendar days, from the date of the written notice the Contractor refuses to comply with these certification requirements, the JBE shall permanently deduct $10,000 from the final payment, or the full payment if less than $10,000. The post-contract certification form shall include: (1) the total amount of money Contractor received under the Agreement, (2) the total amount of money and the percentage of work that Contractor committed to provide to each DVBE subcontractor; (3) the name and address of each DVBE subcontractor to which Contractor subcontracted work in connection with the Agreement; (4) the amount of money each DVBE subcontractor actually received from Contractor in connection with the Agreement, and the corresponding percentage this payment comprises of the total amount of money Contractor received under the Agreement; and (5) that all payments under the Agreement have been made to the applicable DVBE subcontractors. Upon request by the JBE, Contractor shall provide proof of payment for the work. A person or entity that knowingly provides false information shall be subject to a civil penalty for each violation. Contractor will comply with all rules, regulations, ordinances and statutes that govern the DVBE program, including, without limitation, Military and Veterans Code section 999.5.

  • Service Commitment Newly hired nurses and currently employed nurses who voluntarily choose to relocate and receive a relocation allowance may be required to serve for a minimum of two years at their base before they will be considered for transfer to another base. This commitment will not apply when the employer and nurse mutually agree to waive it and when relocation occurs as a result of layoff/rehire.

  • Service Level Commitment IBM provides the following service level commitment (“SLA”) for the Cloud Service, after IBM makes the Cloud Service available to you.

  • Additional Commitments The Parties may negotiate commitments with respect to measures affecting trade in services not subject to scheduling under Article 106 (National Treatment) or Article 107 (Market Access), including those regarding qualifications, standards or licensing matters.
