Subcommittee on Trade In Goods. 1. The Parties hereby establish a Subcommittee on Trade in Goods ("the Subcommittee on Goods") composed of government representatives of each Party. 2. The Subcommittee on Goods' functions shall include: (a) reviewing and monitoring the implementation and operation of this Chapter; (b) promoting trade in both agricultural and non-agricultural goods between the Parties, including through consultations on accelerating tariff elimination under this Agreement, and addressing non-tariff barriers to trade in goods between the Parties; (c) addressing issues relating to the administration and operation of tariff rate quotas; and (d) reporting on its activities and work programme to the Joint Committee. 3. The Subcommittee on Goods shall meet within one year of the date of entry into force of this Agreement and thereafter at such times as the Parties may agree. Meetings may occur in person, or by any other means as mutually determined by the Parties. 4. The Subcommittee on Goods may establish technical working groups to consider any matter relating to this Chapter that creates disruption or may affect trade in goods between the Parties. Any technical working group established shall report to the Subcommittee on Goods on the progress of its work.

Subcommittee on Trade In Goods. 1. The Parties hereby establish a Subcommittee on Trade in Goods (hereinafter referred to as "the Subcommittee”), comprising representatives of each Party. 2. The Subcommittee shall meet on the request of a Party or the Joint Committee to consider any matter arising under this Chapter, Chapter 4 (Trade Remedies) and Chapter 5 (Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures). 3. The Subcommittee’s functions shall include, inter alia: (a) monitoring the implementation and administration of this Chapter; (b) promoting trade in goods between the Parties, including through consultations on accelerating reduction or elimination of customs duties in accordance with this Agreement and other issues as appropriate; (c) addressing barriers to trade in goods between the Parties, especially those related to the application of non-tariff measures, and, if appropriate, referring such matters to the Joint Committee for its consideration; (d) providing a forum for discussion or the exchange of information on matters related to subparagraph (a) through (d), which may, directly or indirectly affect trade between the Parties with a view to eliminating their negative effects on trade and seeking mutually acceptable alternatives. Articles 2.6 (National Treatment) and 2.7 (Import and Export Restrictions) do not apply to: (a) a measure, including that measure’s continuation, prompt renewal or amendment, in respect of the following: (i) controls and charges maintained by Israel on the export of metal waste and scrap; or (ii) subject to Israeli law, imports of non-kosher meat; and (b) an action authorized by the Dispute Settlement Body of the WTO in a dispute between the Parties under the WTO Agreement.

  • Committee on Trade in Goods 1. The Parties hereby establish a Committee on Trade in Goods comprising officials of each Party. The meetings of the Committee and any ad-hoc working group shall be coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Korea and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, or their respective successors. 2. The Committee shall meet upon request of a Party or the Joint Commission to consider matters arising under this Chapter, Chapter Three (Rules of Origin), Four (Origin Procedures) or Five (Customs Administration and Trade Facilitation).

  • Incident Event and Communications Management a. Incident Management/Notification of Breach - DST shall develop, implement and maintain an incident response plan that specifies actions to be taken when DST or one of its subcontractors suspects or detects that a party has gained material unauthorized access to Fund Data or systems or applications containing any Fund Data (the “Response Plan”). Such Response Plan shall include the following: i. Escalation Procedures - An escalation procedure that includes notification to senior managers and appropriate reporting to regulatory and law enforcement agencies. This procedure shall provide for reporting of incidents that compromise the confidentiality of Fund Data (including backed up data) to Fund via telephone or email (and provide a confirmatory notice in writing as soon as practicable); provided that the foregoing notice obligation is excused for such period of time as DST is prohibited by law, rule, regulation or other governmental authority from notifying Fund. ii. Incident Reporting - DST will use commercially reasonable efforts to promptly furnish to Fund information that DST has regarding the general circumstances and extent of such unauthorized access to the Fund Data.

  • Reliance on Third Party Service Providers Each Party may allow Reporting Financial Institutions to use third party service providers to fulfill the obligations imposed on such Reporting Financial Institutions by a Party, as contemplated in this Agreement, but these obligations shall remain the responsibility of the Reporting Financial Institutions.

  • Signature on Returns; Tax Matters Partner (a) The Owner Trustee shall sign, on behalf of the Trust, the tax returns of the Trust. (b) The Depositor, as a Certificateholder, shall be designated the “tax matters partner” of the Trust pursuant to Section 6231(a)(7)(A) of the Code and applicable Treasury Regulations.

  • International Olympic Committee; International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement As instructed from time to time by ICANN, the names (including their IDN variants, where applicable) relating to the International Olympic Committee, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement listed at xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxx/en/resources/registries/reserved shall be withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator at the second level within the TLD. Additional International Olympic Committee, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement names (including their IDN variants) may be added to the list upon ten (10) calendar days notice from ICANN to Registry Operator. Such names may not be activated in the DNS, and may not be released for registration to any person or entity other than Registry Operator. Upon conclusion of Registry Operator’s designation as operator of the registry for the TLD, all such names withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator shall be transferred as specified by ICANN. Registry Operator may self-­‐allocate and renew such names without use of an ICANN accredited registrar, which will not be considered Transactions for purposes of Section 6.1 of the Agreement.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. The Xxxxxxx shall assist any Employee, which the Xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and presenting her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Section 1. In order to facilitate communication between labor and management, a Labor Management Committee consisting of the Department Head and/or his designated alternate, the Assistant Chief of Police and two (2) Team Managers, and three (3) representatives of the Lincoln Police Union, along with at least one (1) Team Representative, will make up the Labor Management Committee. The Department Head will designate management personnel and the Union shall select Union representatives. Members will serve at the pleasure of the Department Head or Union President, depending upon who the member represents. Members will serve and be replaced on a staggered system (approximately three (3) year limit) depending upon the schedule agreed upon by the Department Head and the Union President. Section 2. Each Team area will be represented by a member of any rank to serve as spokesperson for that area. They will meet at least one week prior to the monthly Labor Management Committee meeting to formulate the common areas of interest and to elect a spokesperson to present the items in writing to the Labor Management Committee. Payment for attending this meeting will be at the discretion of the Department Head. Spokesperson will be chosen on a rotating basis. Team representatives will be picked by a vote of the Team members that they are representing. Section 3. The Labor Management Committee may discuss any area of the Department, with limitation only on those areas already under agreement between the City and the Union. The agenda will be based on the problem areas brought to the attention of the Committee by the Team Representatives and on any area representative members of Labor Management feel need to be discussed. Topics for discussion will be posted on the Union bulletin board and disseminated to Labor Management Committee members at least one (1) week prior to the monthly meeting. Section 4. Membership is subject to change through attrition and elected office, however, a one (1) week notice must be given to the Committee to afford the new member(s) voting privileges. Section 5. Realizing that communication is the key element to the smooth operation of any organization, the Labor Management Committee will xxxxxx an element of cooperation and unity of organizational members, be they labor or management. Section 6. Meetings shall be held at least once per calendar month. Additional meetings may be scheduled by mutual agreement of the Committee and the Department Head. Section 7. A quorum shall consist of two (2) members from labor and two (2) members from management.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.
