Summer and Evening Schools. A. New appointments to summer and evening schools and all other education programs sponsored by the Employer will be based upon proper certification/licensure and satisfactory experience in the subject to be taught. Members are encouraged to apply for any vacancy for which they qualify. Preference shall be given to qualified candidates from within the professional staff with first consideration to be given the Member with the greatest length of service to the District and with classroom teaching experience in the area of certification/licensure.
Summer and Evening Schools. 7-1 Teaching positions summer school and night school and for positions under federal programs should be publicized whenever possible. All teachers that desire a position in summer school, night school, and for positions under federal programs should make application with the superintendent within their teaching fields.
Summer and Evening Schools. 1. Notice of all vacancies for professional positions which shall occur in the Summer and Evening Schools conducted by the Committee shall be given in the same manner as is provided in Article 10 of this Agreement for the giving of notice of vacant positions.
