NOTICE OF VACANT POSITIONS. Prior to the deadline for applications, the University shall publish an electronic, University wide announcement of any new or vacant professional position. The position announcement will be published on the GSU website per human resources’ procedures. In the case of tenured/tenure track positions, the announcement shall be made at least one month prior to the deadline for application.
NOTICE OF VACANT POSITIONS. Job announcements for bargaining unit vacancies that are to be filled, shall be posted for a minimum of 14 calendar days in each unit or department, cafeteria area and the County Human Resources website.

Sec. 2513 Reassignment/Transfer in Lieu of Layoff Due to Loss of Program Funding or Program: Upon program termination or loss of program funding, employees who otherwise would be laid-off shall be provided with a list of all active vacant positions for CNA-represented classifications. Said employees will have the opportunity to apply for and compete for any of the listed available positions. If there is more than one qualified candidate (considering competencies, skills, experience and abilities) each candidate will be given equal consideration as determined by nursing administration. All things being equal, years of service will be the determining factor. In no case will an employee be assigned or transferred to a position for which he or she has not applied.

NOTICE OF VACANT POSITIONS. 6.01 Prior to 30 calendar days before the deadline for applications, the University shall notify Employees of any new or vacant position to be filled by distributing the announcement through University email, by publishing the announcement on the employment opportunities section of the University website, and by email to the Chapter President. An Employee who meets the advertised qualifications for the position shall, upon the Employee’s request, be given the opportunity to be interviewed by the search and screen committee before that committee determines the final list of candidates for on-campus interviews.

All vacancies, promotions, stipends and new positions created in the Xxxxxxx Public School and covered under this agreement shall be sent to the Association Representative and Association President and posted internally ten (10) days prior to being posted/advertised outside of the District.

An employee who meets the advertised qualifications for the position shall, upon request, be granted a preliminary interview. If an employee is selected to fill a new or vacant position, her/his credit for years of service at the University shall not be affected.

All vacancies, promotions and new positions created in the Lexington Public Schools and covered under this agreement shall be sent to the Unit D representative five (5) business days prior to being posted online in the applicant tracking system. Bargaining unit employees who meet tht posted criteria shall be given an interview and consideration.

Foundation central office employees shall be notified of all vacancies at the central office for permanent full-time positions by means of vacancy announcements posted five (5) days before the appearance of the public advertisement. Vacancy announcements will include the department and salary grade for the position and remain posted without a closing date until prime candidates have been selected, except that when a vacancy is posted but not adver- tised outside Foundation central office, a closing date of not less than ten (10) working days from date of posting may be specified. Foundation central office employees will be afforded the opportuni- ty to apply for all vacancies and are encouraged to do so. Prior to posting notices of vacancies for covered positions, Foundation will notify representatives of PSC of the number of vacant positions. All such postings will be based on job descriptions and a copy sent to the PSC.
