SUMMER SCHOOL ALLOWANCE. The Board agrees to pay, at the beginning of the school year following completion of summer school courses, per week to a maximum of to a teacher under contract who, after one (1) year’s with the Board, completes summer courses as listed below: Summer courses for additional qualificationstaken beyond the Ontario Teachers’ qualifications and recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers. Credit Courses accredited by Drake University taken within a six- day period.
SUMMER SCHOOL ALLOWANCE. An employee may be granted a per diem allowance as determined by the Employer, for summer school courses where the Employer identifies a departmental need for the employee to take such courses. The allowance will not be paid in respect of Saturdays and Sundays. **
SUMMER SCHOOL ALLOWANCE. That, for encouragement to and assistance for teachers to upgrade and/or update, the Board agrees to pay at the beginning of the school year following completion of summer school course, $60.00 a week to a maximum of $360.00 to a teacher under contract who after one (1) year’s service with the Board successfully completes a summer course for additional qualifications taken beyond the Ontario Teacher’s Certificate.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Auto Allowance The Company shall provide to Executive a car allowance in an amount equal to $1,000 per month during the Employment Period.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Travelling Allowance Where an employee is required to attend or conduct a clinic away from their base hospital, or attend to employer business away from their base hospital, the employer shall, wherever possible, pay all accommodation, meals and travel costs (i.e. the employee shall not be required to pay for such expenses and get reimbursed at a later date). Employees shall be entitled, with prior approval, to claim any actual and reasonable expenses incurred.

  • Housing Allowance During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to receive a Cayman Islands housing allowance of US $6,000 per month. Executive will be responsible for any taxes due on such allowance.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
