Summer Session Courses. 21.2.1 Summer Session courses are courses which are offered during the months of April, May, June, July or August, and which are separate from the regularly scheduled Fall or Winter semester course offerings. Employees on continuing appointments shall not be assigned instructional duties during any Summer Session but may accept such work.

Summer Session Courses. (a) Where a Xxxx, Department Head or administrative equivalent cancels a Summer Session course which an employee has been appointed to teach, the employee affected shall be paid a cancellation fee per course, as follows:
Summer Session Courses. Where a Xxxx, Department Head or administrative equivalent cancels a Summer Session course which an employee in a Lecturer/Instructor appointment has been appointed to teach, the employee affected shall be paid a cancellation fee per course as follows: if the cancellation occurs within seven (7) calendar days of the first scheduled class, a cancellation fee of $525.00; and if the cancellation occurs on or after the first scheduled class, a cancellation fee of $775.00. no cancellation fee shall be paid for cancellations more than seven (7) calendar days in advance of the first scheduled class.

  • Training Courses 16.3.1 Training courses will be as described in the Seller’s customer services catalog (the “Seller’s Customer Services Catalog”). The Seller’s Customer Services Catalog also sets forth the minimum and maximum number of trainees per course. All training requests or training course changes made outside of the scope of the Training Conference will be submitted by the Buyer with a minimum of ***** prior notice.

  • Dewatering 4.7.1 Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, all non- trades employees shall assist in ‘dewatering’ their own work site or area if it is so affected. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected.

  • Firefighters Any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be regularly and routinely staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters for the period of time that the aerial ladder is inoperative, or until such time as the truck with the inoperative aerial ladder is replaced with a truck with an operative aerial ladder. At 0800 and 2000 hours, all trucks shall be staffed with one (1) officer and four (4) firefighters, and any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters.
