SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS FOR PART-TIME EMPLOYEES. 22.1 The normal work schedule for part-time employees shall be consistent with the position’s designated benefit category as follows: PT Employee Benefit Level Work Schedule/Paid Hours 75% 30-34 hours per week or 1560-1768 per year 62.50% 25-29 hours per week or 1300-1508 per year 50% 20-24 hours per week or 1040-1268 per year Part-Time Non-Benefited Employees Less than 20 hours per week or less than 1040 per year Any other provisions of this Agreement to the contrary notwithstanding, part-time employees assigned to regularly scheduled part-time benefited positions shall be eligible for and shall be granted benefits as specified in the appropriate sections of this MOA. Benefit category designations made pursuant to the foregoing may be made or rescinded at any time at the discretion of the City Manager or designee, or the Department with the approval of the City Manager or designee. Nothing herein contained, however, shall be construed to limit the right of the Department Director and of the City Manager or designees, as contained in Article 6, Section 6.5 of this Agreement, to determine the days of the week and hours of each day when any such part-time employee shall be required to work, or whether such part-time employee shall work at all, notwithstanding the above mentioned designation, scheduling and assignment.

  • Benefits for Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee including a casual employee, and a temporary employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee.

  • Supplemental Benefits The employer shall maintain a “Supplemental Unemployment Benefits Plan” pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act and Regulations. The employer shall make amendments as appropriate to ensure that the Plan provides the maximum permissible benefits in conjunction with Article 17.03.

  • Retirement Plans In connection with the individual retirement accounts, simplified employee pension plans, rollover individual retirement plans, educational IRAs and XXXX individual retirement accounts (“XXX Plans”), 403(b) Plans and money purchase and profit sharing plans (collectively, the “Retirement Plans”) within the meaning of Section 408 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) sponsored by a Fund for which contributions of the Fund’s shareholders (the “Participants”) are invested solely in Shares of the Fund, JHSS shall provide the following administrative services:

  • Retiree Medical Benefits If Executive is or would become fifty-five (55) or older and Executive's age and service equal sixty-five (65) and Executive has at least five (5) years of service with the Company within two (2) years of Change in Control, Executive is eligible for retiree medical benefits (as such are determined immediately prior to Change in Control). Executive is eligible to commence receiving such retiree medical benefits based on the terms and conditions of the applicable plans in effect immediately prior to the Change in Control.

  • Benefits for Early Retirees The Hospital will provide to all employees who retire and have not yet reached age sixty-five (65) and who are in receipt of the Hospital’s pension plan benefits, semi-private, extended health care and dental benefits on the same basis as is provided to active employees, as long as the retiree pays the Employer the full amount of the monthly premiums in advance.

  • Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Compensation for Employees Employees shall receive compensation at the biweekly or hourly rate for the range and step or flat rate assigned to the class in which they are employed.
