Supplementary Choristers. Supplementary Choristers engaged in a production and engaged for a subsequent production may be contracted to attend music rehearsals for the subsequent production in the earlier period (as in Clause 14:01(C)(i) above) and will be paid a minimum of one-sixth (1/6) of the Chorus music preparation rate for each three (3) hour (maximum) call.

Supplementary Choristers. The Engager may engage Supplementary Choristers in accordance with Clause 14:01(B)(i), who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and who are not already members of another professional performing artists’ association or union (such as, but not limited to, AEA, UDA, ACTRA) as Associate Members as defined in Equity’s Constitution and Bylaws, when engaged under their first COA Engagement Contract. Supplementary Choristers must become Regular Members on their second COA Engagement Contract.

Supplementary Choristers. Rehearsals shall not be scheduled after 11:00 p.m. or before 2:00 p.m. except in conjunction with an orchestra rehearsal or a rehearsal on Saturday, in which instance the rehearsal may be scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Further the Employer shall utilize its best efforts to schedule no rehearsal after 10:00 p.m. On performance days, Saturday rehearsals without the orchestra may commence prior to 11:00 a.m. Piano Run-Throughs may be scheduled prior to 2:00 p.m. if artistically essential and with the consent of AGMA, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. Services at any rehearsal outside these parameters, including Saturday rehearsals prior to 11:00 a.m. and Piano Run-Throughs prior to 2:00 p.m., shall be paid for at double time.

  • Currency and Related Risks The Fund bears risks of holding or transacting in any currency. The Custodian shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the applicability of any law or regulation now or hereafter in effect, or from the occurrence of any event, which may delay or affect the transferability, convertibility or availability of any currency in the country (a) in which such Principal or Agency Accounts are maintained or (b) in which such currency is issued, and in no event shall the Custodian be obligated to make payment of a deposit denominated in a currency during the period during which its transferability, convertibility or availability has been affected by any such law, regulation or event. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, neither the Custodian nor any Subcustodian shall be required to repay any deposit made at a foreign branch of either the Custodian or Subcustodian if such branch cannot repay the deposit due to a cause for which the Custodian would not be responsible in accordance with the terms of Section 9 of this Agreement unless the Custodian or such Subcustodian expressly agrees in writing to repay the deposit under such circumstances. All currency transactions in any account opened pursuant to this Agreement are subject to exchange control regulations of the United States and of the country where such currency is the lawful currency or where the account is maintained. Any taxes, costs, charges or fees imposed on the convertibility of a currency held by the Fund shall be for the account of the Fund.
