PRODUCTION STAFF. The Employer will supply one clean uniform for each shift at the Employer's expense.
PRODUCTION STAFF. The following persons shall not be employed as principal performers with respect to the production of any commercial: persons on the payroll of the advertising agency; staff or crew of the production company; or any person involved in the casting process. This provision shall not be applicable (i) to animal handlers (appearing in a scene in which they handle animals), (ii) to actor/directors, actor/writers, or actor/producers, or singers engaged in similar activity, (iii) in emergencies on location and in studios. Producer shall pay to the Union, as liquidated damages, an amount equivalent to the minimum applicable session fee for each commercial for which such person is employed during a single engagement, up to a maximum of two such session fees.
PRODUCTION STAFF. Employer shall not utilize casting, development, or production staff as Performers in any Program on which they also render any services other than as a Performer without the express consent of SAG-AFTRA. SAG-AFTRA shall give reasonable consideration to the Employer’s good faith request for waivers to accommodate their legitimate production necessities. The following are exceptions to the above: ● Animal handlers (appearing in a scene in which they handle animals); ● Actor/directors, actor/writers, or actor/developer engaged as such by written contract prior to commencing work; ● An emergency in the production which requires immediate response; a situation in which a member of the cast cannot perform or fails to report for work ready, willing and able to perform the services for which they were engaged. If Producer violates this section, it shall pay liquidated damages in the following amounts: ● Day Performer $300.00 ● Three-Day Performer $400.00 ● Weekly Performer $600.00
PRODUCTION STAFF. The term Production Staff or Production Staff Member refers to and is inclusive of all ARTISTS classified as STAGE MANAGERS, ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS, and ASSISTANT DIRECTORS.
PRODUCTION STAFF. Employer will offer contracts for the following season to Production Staff Members by May 1 or whenever the associated schedule and staffing requirements are sufficiently clear, whichever is later. Before making such offers, Employer will survey Production Staff preferences and will take such preferences into account. Side Letter: Lyric will engage two non-performing swings for West Side Story and will consult with AGMA on the need for non-performing swings in contract years 2 and 3. Musical Theater Agreement: Employer agrees to consider the dance involved to determine whether a physical therapist is appropriate for the particular program. The Employer will consult with the ballet MSTS in determining whether a physical therapist is appropriate, and the physical therapist selected. See Attached Wage Chart
PRODUCTION STAFF. (1) There will be a minimum of one (1) Assistant Stage Director, one (1) Stage Manager, and two (2) Assistant Stage Managers (three (3) Assistant Stage Managers if the Production utilizes supertitles). Positions for Production Staff on the musicals shall be offered to members of the Lyric Regular Production Staff (or Regular Production Staff members on leave for that season) prior to offering such position(s) to other persons. If there is no Regular Assistant Stage Director contracted for the season, Employer shall offer the Assistant Stage Director position to an Assistant Stage Director who was engaged with Employer during the preceding five seasons or a Regular Production Staff member. A member of the Production Staff shall be present at all staging rehearsals. Work typically done by Production Staff members under the Lyric Basic Agreement shall not be performed by anyone other than a Production Staff Member.
(2) All Production Staff shall receive one (1) week’s pay to cover preparation before the commencement of rehearsals to be paid with the Production Staff Member’s first paycheck.
(3) All Production Staff shall be offered employment from the first rehearsal through the final performance. During Performance Weeks, the responsibilities of the Assistant Director may include responsibilities typically performed by other Production Staff Members.
(4) Employer will meet with AGMA in a timely manner and discuss the need for an additional Assistant Stage Manager due to the complexity of the production, the number of performers engaged for the production, the rehearsal schedule, and/or if supernumeraries are used.
PRODUCTION STAFF. 1. The term “Production Staff” or “Production Staff member” refers to and is inclusive of all ARTISTS classified as Stage Managers, Assistant Stage Managers and Assistant Directors.

3. Production Staff Employment Production Staff members shall be engaged and present not less than seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the first principal rehearsal or the first staging rehearsal, whichever is earlier.
PRODUCTION STAFF. A. Employer shall not utilize persons employed as members of Employer’s casting or production staff as Performers in any Program on which they also render any services on an Interactive Program without the express consent of AFTRA, however, AFTRA shall grant waivers on a reasonable basis in good faith to accommodate the legitimate production necessities of Employer.
B. The following are exceptions to the above:
1. Animal handlers (appearing in a scene in which they handle animals);
2. Actor/directors, actor/writers, or actor/employers engaged by written contract prior to the commencement of Principal Photography of the Program;
3. An “emergency” in the production which requires immediate response. Emergency is defined as a situation in which a member of the cast cannot perform or fails to report for work ready, willing and able to perform the duties assigned to such Performer hereunder.
C. Violations of the foregoing prohibition shall require payment of Liquidated Damages, as follows: Day Performer $300.00 Three-Day Performer $400.00 Weekly Performer $600.00
PRODUCTION STAFF. A. Persons employed as members of Producer's casting or production staff will neither be engaged nor utilized as performers in any pictures on which they also render any services on Producer's casting or production staff without the express consent of the Union.
B. The only exceptions shall be the following:
(1) animal handlers (appearing in a scene in which they handle animals);
(2) performer/directors, performer/writers, or performer/producers engaged in written contract as such prior to the commencement of principal photography of a motion picture;
(3) in an "emergency" on location. "Emergency" is defined as a situation, on location, in which a member of the cast cannot perform because of unavailability for any reason.
PRODUCTION STAFF. A. The following persons shall not be employed as Performers with respect to the production of any commercial: persons on the payroll of the advertising agency; staff or crew of the production company; or any person involved in the casting process. This provision shall not be applicable to (a) Actor/Directors, Actor/Writers, or Actor/Producers or Singers engaged in similar activity, or (b) in emergencies.
B. Producer shall pay to the Union as liquidated damages an amount equivalent to the minimum applicable session fee for each commercial for which such person is employed during a single engagement, up to a maximum of two such session fees, but not less than $150.00.
