Teacher Inservice. A. The Staff Development Council will be comprised of equal representation from the Teacher Association, the Non-Instructional Association and Management. The Staff Development Council collaborates to make advisory recommendations to the appropriate representative(s) of the Board on behalf of the inservice needs of all School District employees. No other committee will be established to assume any of the responsibilities of the county-wide Staff Development Council.

  • Education of Students with Disabilities 3.5.1. The DOE is the State of Hawaii's “state education agency” (SEA) and “local education agency” (LEA) for purposes of compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The employee may obtain a second opinion, at the employee's expense, and in the event there is a dispute between the Employer's doctor and the employee's doctor, both of these doctors shall select a third doctor, whose decision shall be final and binding on the parties. The expense for the third doctor's opinion shall be split 50-50 by the Employer and the employee if not covered by the employee's insurance.

  • Education - Asthma This plan covers asthma education services when the services are prescribed by a physician and performed by a certified asthma educator.

  • Teacher Professional Growth Plan 9.1.1 Teacher Professional Growth Plans will consider but will not be required to include the School Division’s goals.
