TEMPORARY DUTY AND TRAVEL. Personnel on temporary duty shall follow 12 hours of work in effect at the TDY activity when TDY requires interface with on site 13 personnel. Other situations shall be as approved by their supervisor prior to TDY, 14 as appropriate in the performance of their assigned duties. Normally during 15 periods of travel, the employee’s schedule shall be such that the hours required for 16 travel shall coincide with the employee’s pre-selected work schedule. 17

TEMPORARY DUTY AND TRAVEL. The regular rules governing hours of work and overtime pertaining to travel apply. The Employer may require an employee to follow a traditional, fixed schedule (8 hours a day and 40 hours a week) during the pay periods he or she travels.
