Temporary Reduction in Work Year. 11.2.1 For the 2012-2013 school year only, the work year for all unit members covered by the certificated and classified contract shall be reduced by one and one-half (1.5) days, with a concomitant reduction in salaries (each day represents an expenditure reduction of $1.79 million), provided that there shall be no adjustment in salary for unit members if any administrator is not required to take the same number of days as unpaid non-work days with a concomitant adjustment in salary. The foregoing temporary reduction in work year shall be accomplished by designating the third professional development and the last one-half day of the final student instructional day.

The foregoing temporary reduction in work year shall be accomplished by designating the day before Election Day and three (3) other mutually agreed upon days as unpaid non-work days.

  • Temporary Reduction of Downpayment When, under B8.33, Contracting Officer orders a delay or interruption of Purchaser’s Operations for more than 30 days when scheduled operations would be occurring but for the order, the downpayment amount required shall be temporarily reduced upon the written request of Purchaser or at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. For the period of the delay or interruption, the downpayment on deposit may be reduced to $1,000 or two (2) percent of the downpayment amount listed in A18, whichever is larger. Any downpayment amount temporarily reduced pursuant to this Subsection may be refunded or transferred at the request of Purchaser. However, if Purchaser has outstanding debt owed to the United States, Contracting Officer must apply the amount of downpayment that could be refunded to the debt owed in accordance with the Debt Collection Improvement Act, as amended (31 USC 3701, et seq.).

  • REDUCTION IN WORK FORCE 19.01 In the event of a reduction in the work force, regular employees shall be laid off in reverse order of seniority, provided that there are available employees with greater seniority who are qualified and willing to do the work of the employees laid off.

  • Voluntary Reduced Work Week Employees subject to the approval by the Appointing Officer may voluntarily elect to work a reduced work week for a specified period of time. Such reduced work week shall not be less than twenty (20) hours per week. Pay, vacation, holidays and sick pay shall be reduced in accordance with such reduced work week.

  • REDUCTION IN WORKFORCE 16.01 The employer will layoff employees in reverse order of seniority within the classification provided those retained have the ability to do the work.
