Termination of Studies. 16. Students wishing to terminate their studies prematurely may opt to voluntarily withdraw/ resign from a programme in accordance with DOC 350 MCAST IfE Joint Programme Regulations, provided that this is not in conflict with any of the abovementioned articles. 17. If the Student does not withdraw/resign from the programme in accordance with DOC 350 MCAST IfE Joint Programme Regulations, they will be considered in default. 18. The Providers reserve the right to terminate/de-register a student following a breach of the terms outlined in this agreement, admission regulations or any other policy and/or procedure of the Providers. 19. Students withdrawing/resigning from a programme, cannot request a refund. 20. Students entitled to a qualification upon resignation from a course will be receiving the qualification by the following graduation ceremony. 21. Students who discontinue their studies cannot be re-enrolled within the same academic year. A re-application for a course/programme at the IfE or the MCAST must go through the admissions process.

Termination of Studies. 8.1. The educational contract ends with the successful completion of the study programme on the part of the student. Graduates may use their acquired academic title once they have been officially awarded their academic degree.

Termination of Studies for failing to comply with this contract for reasons other than academic failure or non-engagement, including complying with the policies and procedures of St Padarn’s will be covered by the Learners’ Disciplinary Policy or Capability to Undertake Study / Training Policy.
Termination of Studies. (1) This agreement can be terminated for important reasons by either of the two contractual parties at any time with immediate effect. On the provider’s side, obvious reasons include when the student  repeatedly or seriously violates the terms of this agreement or acts in defiance thereof (see § 17) and/or  is sentenced to imprisonment because of serious criminal offences that endanger or impinge upon the interests of the FH Upper Austria and/or  persistently or seriously violates the stipulations of § 13 and/or  otherwise behaves in a way that can seriously damage or endanger the reputation of the FH Upper Austria or one of its organisational units. This includes misconduct by the student both in an internal and in an external relationship to the FH Upper Austria (e.g. during classes, in the course of an internship, in dealings with partners of the FH Upper Austria, in correspondence). Students are especially reminded that in the case of study abroad they must respect the corresponding regulations and/or codes of conduct of the host institution and cultural norms in general. Any complaint filed by the host institution in this context is considered valid grounds for termination of this agreement. (2) The extent to which a student’s personal misconduct is deemed to have taken place, damaging the reputa- tion of the FH Upper Austria or its cooperation partners in an academic or professional context, is decided by a Disciplinary Advisory Board at the respective school by the FH Upper Austria (section 7 § 17 of the Statutes of the FH Upper Austria). Appeals against this can be made to the Academic Board of the FH Upper Austria. (3) Upon graduation or termination of studies (failing an examination in front of a committee or other reasons) deregistration must be completed in the administration office of the degree programme. This procedure entails, among other things, the return of objects or the payment for non-returned objects in connection with the library, hardware, software and other valuable items belonging to the provider.

Therefore, if you are a full- time candidate for ministry and your contract for Formation for Licensed Ministry comes to an end, then you will automatically also be withdrawn from the full-time BTh/DipHE/CertHE. In this case, St Padarn’s can make arrangements to transfer you to the part-time BTh/DipHE/CertHE programme if you wish. 10.6 If you wish to terminate this contract by withdrawing from the programme written notice of intention to withdraw must be given to the Registrar or Programme Leader. On receipt of notice the Registrar will contact you in writing to inform you of the impact that withdrawal may have on future academic studies. You may discuss the implications with the Registrar. Once any implications have been fully understood you need to confirm to the Registrar that you wish to continue with withdrawal. 10.7 If you wish to terminate this contract by withdrawing from a non-accredited programme then you need to contact the leader of that programme. Withdrawal from the full-time Formation for Licensed Ministry programme will mean automatic withdrawal from the full-time X.Xx. in Theology for Discipleship, Ministry, and Mission, as in 10.5. 10.8 The UKBHC programme is only available to those on the PGCert, PGDip or MA Chaplaincy. If you are studying the UKBHC and wish to terminate your contract, or St Padarn’s terminates your contract, for the PGCert, PGDip or MA Chaplaincy, then you will automatically be withdrawn from the UKBHC programme.

Students wishing to terminate their studies prematurely may opt to voluntarily withdraw/ resign from a programme in accordance with the programme regulations provided that this is not in conflict with any of the above-mentioned articles. 20. If the Student does not withdraw/resign from the programme in accordance with the programme regulations, they will be considered in default. 21. MCAST reserves the right to terminate/de-register a student following a breach of the terms outlined in this agreement, admission regulations or any other policy and/or procedure of the MCAST. 22. Students withdrawing/resigning from a programme, cannot request a refund of any tuition and/or administrative fees (if applicable). 23. In cases where students are entitled to Student Maintenance Funds: when a Student interrupts or withdraws from a programme, the stipend is stopped with immediate effect. A student may be requested to refund any money to which they were not entitled to because of their interruption/withdrawal. 24. Students entitled to a qualification upon resignation from a course will be receiving the qualification by the following graduation ceremony. 25. Students who discontinue their studies and wish to re-enrol for a course/programme at MCAST are to re-apply and follow the entire admissions process.

Once any implications have been fully understood you need to confirm to the Registrar that you wish to continue with withdrawal. Liability for fees in the case of withdrawal is set out in the St Padarn’s Fees and Finance Policy. 9.6 If you wish to terminate this contract by withdrawing from a non-accredited programme then you need to contact the leader of that programme.
