Terms of Attendance. No vote The Participant may attend meetings of the ISG only pursuant to an invitation or authorization of the Chairman of the ISG, and is only authorized to access materials provided to the members of the ISG in relation to such meetings if such access is authorized by the Chairman of the ISG. The Participant shall not be entitled to vote or participate in any decision taken by the members of the ISG. The Participant may provide observations to the members of the ISG upon request from the Chairman of the ISG.

Terms of Attendance. Event Facilitators reserve the right to refuse entry to any Attendee at their sole discretion without explanation. Attendees will not be permitted entry to the Event while in the possession of the following prohibited items: items that may be used in a dangerous or threatening manner, firearms, knives or weapons of any description (and any other sharp items), glass bottles (please decant into other containers), illegal drugs, fireworks or explosives. To ensure the safety of all Event attendees, access to the Event Venue will be refused to, but not limited to, people who: • are under the influence of illegal drugs or any other illegal substances, • are clearly suffering from alcohol or other substance intoxication, • have been previously banned by Event Facilitators or Event Venue, • are demonstrating an intent to disturb the peace or to provoke someone else to do so, • engage in fighting or any disruptive behavior, • resist the direction of, refuse to provide identification or refuse search by Event Facilitators and their staff. (a) observe the rules, policies and procedures of the Event Venue including in relation to health and safety and any reasonable instructions issued by the Event Facilitators and/or the management of the Event Venue; (b) behave in a respectful, professional and appropriate way that does not breach the laws or regulations of their home jurisdiction or of the host jurisdiction or that risks bringing the Event into disrepute; (c) ensure they have adequate insurance for their own requirements, including personal accident and travel insurance, prior to attending any Event; and (d) ensure they have all necessary documentation and identification should it be requested by Event Facilitators, their staff or Event Venue security. Engaging in such behavior may result in your removal from the event, restriction from future events and Police may be called.

  • Court Attendance Any employee covered by this Agreement who may be required to attend any commission, court or hearing, to give evidence in any case, civil or criminal respecting the hotel in which they are employed, shall be compensated at the same hourly rate as called for in this Agreement, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay.

  • Attendance and Waiver of Notice Attendance by a Director at any meeting (in person, telephonically or by proxy) shall constitute a waiver of notice of such meeting, except where a Director attends a meeting for the express purpose of objecting to the transaction of any business on the ground that the meeting is not lawfully called or convened. Neither the business to be transacted at, nor the purpose of, any regular or special meeting of the Board of Directors need be specified in the notice or waiver of notice of such meeting.

  • PAYMENT FOR MEETING ATTENDANCE 18.01 Where the Employer requires an employee to be present at a meeting scheduled by the Employer, time spent at such meeting shall be considered time worked, in accordance with Article 14.03

Notices given by personal delivery may be in writing or oral. Written notices shall be sent to a Board Member at the postal address, email address or address for other electronic transmission, designated by him or her for that purpose or, if none has been so designated, at his or her last known residence or business address, email address or address for other electronic transmission. Except to the extent required by applicable law, no notice of any meeting of the Board need state the purposes of the meeting.

  • NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETINGS At least seven clear days’ notice in writing counting from the date service is deemed to take place as provided in these Articles specifying the place, the day and the hour of the meeting and the general nature of the business, shall be given in the manner hereinafter provided or in such other manner (if any) as may be prescribed by the Company by Ordinary Resolution to such Persons as are, under these Articles, entitled to receive such notices from the Company, but with the consent of all the Shareholders entitled to receive notice of some particular meeting and attend and vote thereat, that meeting may be convened by such shorter notice or without notice and in such manner as those Shareholders may think fit.

  • Attendance at Meetings Any employee required to attend Occupational Health and Safety Committee and/or Board of Management meetings in the capacity of employee representative shall, if such meetings are held outside the ordinary hours of work, be entitled to receive ordinary pay per hour for the actual time spent in attendance at such meetings. In lieu of receiving payment, employees may, with the agreement of the employer, be permitted to be free from duty for a period of time equivalent to the period spent in attendance at such meetings. Such time spent shall not be viewed as overtime for the purposes of this Agreement.

  • Meeting Attendance The Contractor shall attend such meetings of the Town relative to the Scope of Work set forth in Exhibit A as may be requested by the Town. Any requirement made by the named representatives of the Town shall be given with reasonable notice to the Contractor so that a representative may attend.
