The Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee is a committee consisting of the Vice President Academic as chairperson, the Xxxx, three Regular Faculty representatives chosen by the Faculty Association, one Board member elected by the Board from Ministry appointments, and two external members from other institutions, appointed by the President of the Institute, as required by Article 18.05.2.
The Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee. 18.05.1 The Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee (the committee) shall be convened annually by the second week of October in order to review applications and prepare recommendations to be submitted to the President of the Institute by the end of October. All applications must be submitted by 1 September of the academic year prior to the intended sabbatical leave.
The Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee. 18.05.2 The committee shall be composed of the following: the Vice President Academic (as Chairperson); the Xxxx; three Regular Faculty Members chosen by the Faculty Association; one Board member elected by the Board from Ministry appointments; two external members from other institutions, appointed by the President, or designate (the external members of the Committee shall have expertise related to the positions of Non-Teaching Faculty Members when assessing such applications).
