Time for Training. Training will be scheduled during the employee’s regular shift whenever reasonably feasible. If training cannot be reasonably scheduled during the employee’s regular shift, it will be scheduled so that employees have a minimum of an eight- hour separation between the end of the employee’s work shift and the beginning of the training session. Similarly, there shall be a minimum of an eight-hour separation between the end of the training session and the beginning of the employee’s next scheduled shift. This shall be accomplished by the use of paid release time to the extent the schedule adjustment provided above is insufficient to provide the eight hours off. The requirement may be waived upon the voluntary written request of an employee.

  • Funding for Training (a) In furtherance of the objectives of clause 31 hereof, and as a further initiative to enhance the employment and career opportunities of the Employees, the Parties will continue to facilitate on-going training to improve occupational health & safety in the industry and to improve employees work skills so as to advance progression to higher industry skill levels.

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.

  • General Training 417. The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee. The foregoing includes but is not limited to mandatory continuing education and/or training requirements.

  • Trainings iv. Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time.   • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • INSERVICE TRAINING 633. The City agrees to institute inservice training for represented employees by mutual agreement. Training may include, but is not limited to, instruction that will qualify for required CE credits, certificate and license requirements as required for continued employment in the employee's current classification. Required attendance shall be considered a duty assignment for purposes of payment of salary.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • Compliance Training ADMINISTRATOR shall make General Compliance Training and Provider Compliance Training, where appropriate, available to Covered Individuals.
