Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.
Training Plan 19.6.1 An apprentice shall be a party to an individual Training Plan. 19.6.2 The Training Plan sets out the training that the apprentice will do both on – the – job and off – the – job. The Training Plan also sets out how the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will ensure the apprentice will receive quality training – both on – the – job and off – the – job. 19.6.3 The Training Plan reflects the choices made by the employer and the apprentice in relation to:-
Dining Services The Contract is for a space in a University Housing & Dining Services (“UHDS”) facility and not for a particular room or type of housing. By signing this Contract, you agree to accept your residence assignment, and understand this assignment may change. Once you receive a key to your assigned residence or move personal belongings into your room (whichever comes first) you are considered to have taken occupancy (“Occupancy”) and will incur charges. You also agree to familiarize yourself and comply with all University policies governing occupancy, including those set forth in this Contract and in the UHDS publication Student Policy and Information Guide, to be considerate of other residents and to respect the rights of others at all times. The Student Policy and Information Guide may be found at: xxxx://xxxx.xxxx/policy-guide, as well as in paper form when requested at the University Housing & Dining Services Administrative Offices.
Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.
Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.
Screening After you sign and date the consent document, you will begin screening. The purpose of the screening is to find out if you meet all of the requirements to take part in the study. Procedures that will be completed during the study (including screening) are described below. If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be able to take part in the study. The study investigator or study staff will explain why. As part of screening, you must complete all of the items listed below: • Give your race, age, gender, and ethnicity • Give your medical history o You must review and confirm the information in your medical history questionnaire • Give your drug, alcohol, and tobacco use history • Give your past and current medication and treatment history. This includes any over-the-counter or prescription drugs, such as vitamins, dietary supplements, or herbal supplements, taken in the past 28 days • Height and weight will be measured • Physical exam will be done • Electrocardiogram (ECG) will be collected. An ECG measures the electrical activity of the heart • You may be tested for COVID-19 o Blood tests for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B, and hepatitis C o Blood tests to see how your blood clots ▪ Fibrinogen ▪ PT/INR/aPTT o Blood tests for amylase and lipase (enzymes that help with digestion, Part B only) o Blood tests for a lipid (fats) panel (Part B only) ▪ Total cholesterol ▪ Triglycerides ▪ HDL ▪ Direct HDL o Blood tests to check your thyroid function (Part B and Part C only) ▪ TSH ▪ Free T4 o Urine to test for drugs of abuse (illegal and prescription) o Urine tests to check your albumin/ creatinine ratio o Females who have not had a period for at least 12 months in a row will have a blood hormone test to confirm they cannot have children • The study investigator may decide to do an alcohol breath test • The use of proper birth control will be reviewed (males only) • You will be asked “How do you feel?” HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C will be tested at screening. If anyone is exposed to your blood during the study, you will have these tests done again. If you have a positive test, you cannot be in or remain in the study. HIV is the virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). If your HIV test is positive, you will be told about the results. It may take weeks or months after being infected with HIV for the test to be positive. The HIV test is not always right. Having certain infections or positive test results may have to be reported to the State Department of Health. This includes results for HIV, hepatitis, and other infections. If you have any questions about what information is required to be reported, please ask the study investigator or study staff. Although this testing is meant to be private, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed. For example, it is possible for a court of law to get health or study records without your permission.
Overtime Scheduling 1. Each employee interested in working overtime may volunteer by requesting, in writing, to be added to the voluntary overtime list within his/her building and/or the district-wide voluntary overtime list. They will also indicate whether they wish to work during their vacation period. Such written request to be added to or deleted from the overtime lists may be made at any time; however, if the employee is requesting to be deleted from the list(s), he/she shall not be allowed to rejoin the list(s) for a ninety (90) calendar day period. Such lists shall be maintained on a yearly basis, from September 1st to August 31st of each year. The employer will serve notice to the employees, by a memo into each work area, that overtime lists are being formulated, by August 15th of each year. 2. The list will be compiled for September with the volunteers listed in seniority order. Overtime shall be rotated among volunteers. The rotation shall be continuous through the year until a new list is compiled the following September. If an employee volunteers who was not on the list he/she shall be placed on the list according to his/her seniority and he/she shall be eligible to work overtime in accordance with the normal rotation. 3. To the extent possible, employees will be notified at least four (4) hours prior to the end of the shift of any overtime for that day and by noon on Friday for any Saturday overtime. Any employee who has volunteered to work overtime and is notified in accordance with this paragraph shall be obligated to work the overtime hours in their building unless excused by the supervisor. 4. Overtime assignments will be on a rotating schedule among the qualified employees within each classification who have expressly volunteered for such overtime work. The employer’s obligation to rotate overtime shall be satisfied by calling employees who are working at the time the overtime determination is made (i.e., not on vacation or other leave of absence) in seniority order and offering them the opportunity to work. 5. If there are insufficient volunteers available for any specific assignment, the employer may require the least senior employee in the division to perform the work. 6. Substantiated errors made in the rotation of overtime (Article XIII Section G.4) will be corrected on the basis of offering the by-passed employee an amount of overtime equal to the time lost due to the error of assignment. Depending on the number of hours involved, it is possible that this may take more than (1) one overtime offer/assignment. Acceptance of the compensatory overtime will not change the employees spot in the overtime rotation, thus the employee will remain eligible for overtime in the same rotation as before the error. The compensatory overtime will not be offered at such a time or in such a manner that would purposefully cause inconvenience or inability to the effected employee to comply. In the event the employee declines the offered overtime work, the employee shall forfeit any future claim to the overtime hours in dispute.
Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.
Training Courses 16.4.1 Training courses, as well as the minimum and maximum numbers of trainees per course provided for the Buyer’s personnel, are defined in the applicable training course catalog published by ANACS (the “Training Course Catalog”) and will be scheduled as mutually agreed upon during a training conference (the “Training Conference”) that will be held as soon as practicable after signature of this Agreement and no later than May 31, 2007. AVA - A320 Family PA AMENDED AND RESTATED 16.4.2 The following terms will apply when training is performed ANACS: (i) Subject to 16.4.2(ii) below, training courses will be standard Airbus courses as described in ANACS applicable Training Course Catalog valid at the time of execution of the course. ANACS will be responsible for all training course syllabi, training aids and training equipment (not to include aircraft) necessary for the organization of the training courses. (ii) Where ANACS agrees to perform training using Buyer’s standard courses, Buyer will be responsible for taking all steps necessary to assure approval by applicable Aviation Authorities of such training (including any needed approvals of specific ANACS instructors). (iii) The training curricula and the training equipment used for flight crew, cabin crew and maintenance training will not be fully customized but will be configured in order to obtain the relevant Aviation Authority’s approval and to support the Seller’s training programs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the training curricula used for training performed under such circumstances shall enumerate any differences that exist between the non-customized material and Buyer’s detailed specification. (iv) Training data and documentation necessary for training detailed in Appendix A to this Clause 16 will be and will not be revised. Training data and documentation will be marked “FOR TRAINING ONLY” and as such will be supplied for the sole and express purpose of training. (v) Upon the request of the Buyer [*], the Seller will collect and pack for consolidated shipment to the Buyer’s facility, all training data and documentation of the Buyer’s trainees attending training at the Seller’s Training Center. This training data and documentation will be delivered [*]. It is understood that title to and risk of loss of the training data and documentation will pass to the Buyer [*]. 16.4.3.1 If the Buyer decides to cancel fully or partially or reschedule, a training course, a minimum advance notification of at least [*] calendar days prior to the relevant training course start date is required. 16.4.3.2 If such notification is received by the Seller or ANACS less than [*] but more than [*] calendar days prior to such training, a cancellation fee corresponding to [*] of such training will be deducted from the training allowance defined in Appendix A to the extent sufficient allowance then remains, with any balance invoiced at the price corresponding to such training in the then current ANACS Customer Services Catalog. 16.4.3.3 If such notification is received by the Seller less than [*] calendar days prior [*] of such training will be deducted from the training allowance defined in Appendix A to the extent sufficient allowance then remains, with any balance invoiced at the price corresponding to such training in the then current ANACS Customer Services Catalog. 16.4.3.4 [*]
