Time Off. Except in the circumstances of the immediate suspension or dismissal, by mutual arrangement with the employee's manager or director, an employee shall be permitted the necessary time off without loss of pay and benefits to attend to the adjustment of the grievance and may be present at any step in the grievance procedure if so requested by either party.
