Scheduling Tours. Tours will be scheduled in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 and will incorporate any specific tour requirements necessary for a certain concept. It is recognized that certain conditions, such as attendance in schools, may necessitate the temporary reverting to a normal work schedule. It is not intended that the 30-day notification rule apply in these cases, nor would this be considered a change in schedule.
Scheduling Tours. A. Insofar as service requirements permit, the Company shall assign tours in accordance with the preference of employees in the order of their seniority, except that seniority shall not entitle any employee to select a tour assigned by the Company to an Operator having less than six weeks' service. Training tours for Consumer Service Representatives, Sales Associates or Sales Consultant will normally not exceed 8 weeks, but may last up to 12 weeks with discussion with the Local President. Tours will be scheduled and assigned in accordance with 3.04 or 3.06 below. It is not the intent of this article or any other provision in this Agreement to require the Company to revise a posted work schedule so as to assign an employee entering the work group the tours to which his/her seniority would otherwise entitle him/her. B. Tours may fall on any day of the week necessary to meet service requirements, except that the tours and part tours which make up the normal work week may not be spread over more than 6 days of the calendar week. 1. Scheduled time is comprised of tours and/or part tours, and the scheduled time for any work day shall not exceed the length of a normal tour. 2. Operating Room Forces week day schedules shall not include part tours that are the equivalent of morning- afternoon tours, unless it is necessary to use such part tours because of service requirements. 3. In the event it becomes necessary to schedule an employee to work more than 5 tours in a calendar week, the sixth and seventh day shall be considered as premium days on the weekly work schedule. C. No employee will be scheduled to work more than 13 consecutive days nor be required to work six days per week for more than two consecutive weeks without his/her consent except where acute service conditions develop caused by unanticipated service needs, fire, flood, storm, or other natural disaster. Insofar as service requirements will permit, a minimum time interval of 12 hours (11 hours for Operating Room Forces) shall elapse between the scheduled ending time of one tour and the scheduled starting time of the next, except when a tour is assigned to an employee with less than the minimum interval between tours because of that employee exercising his/her seniority for the choice of tours. Insofar as practicable employees working on a holiday will be rotated from holiday to holiday among those qualified within a work group. Insofar as practicable employees working on Christmas Eve (Operator Services only), Christmas and Mother's Day (even though Mother's Day is not an authorized holiday) will be rotated from Christmas Eve to Christmas Eve, Christmas to Christmas and Mother's Day to Mother's Day, except that rotations shall not apply to employees who have vacation scheduled during Christmas week. b. Changes from officially posted weekly work schedules may be made (without changing the total scheduled hours for the week) to provide for changes in hours, work days, or off-days in accordance with the following: 1. At the request of the Company in order to meet service requirements. 2. At the request of employees. a. If an employee requests time off for personal reasons he may be permitted to work one (1) non-scheduled day in the same work week at his regular wage rate, plus applicable differentials. b. If the Company contacts an employee in connection with a shift of his tour and if the employee agrees to the shift, the shift shall not be considered to be made at the request of the employee.

The NTO shall comply with maintenance schedules coordinated by the ISO, pursuant to this Agreement, for NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control. The NTO shall be responsible for providing notification of maintenance schedules to the ISO for NTO Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification. The NTO shall provide notification of maintenance schedules to affected Transmission Owners for NTO Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification and Local Area Transmission Facilities pursuant to Section 3.5.3 of the ISO Services Tariff.

  • Scheduling of Hours ‌ (a) Regular Employees (1) (i) Regular employees shall be scheduled hours within their classification based on seniority, subject to the employee's ability to meet specific client needs and geographic location.

  • Overtime Scheduling 1. Each employee interested in working overtime may volunteer by requesting, in writing, to be added to the voluntary overtime list within his/her building and/or the district-wide voluntary overtime list. They will also indicate whether they wish to work during their vacation period. Such written request to be added to or deleted from the overtime lists may be made at any time; however, if the employee is requesting to be deleted from the list(s), he/she shall not be allowed to rejoin the list(s) for a ninety (90) calendar day period. Such lists shall be maintained on a yearly basis, from September 1st to August 31st of each year. The employer will serve notice to the employees, by a memo into each work area, that overtime lists are being formulated, by August 15th of each year. 2. The list will be compiled for September with the volunteers listed in seniority order. Overtime shall be rotated among volunteers. The rotation shall be continuous through the year until a new list is compiled the following September. If an employee volunteers who was not on the list he/she shall be placed on the list according to his/her seniority and he/she shall be eligible to work overtime in accordance with the normal rotation. 3. To the extent possible, employees will be notified at least four (4) hours prior to the end of the shift of any overtime for that day and by noon on Friday for any Saturday overtime. Any employee who has volunteered to work overtime and is notified in accordance with this paragraph shall be obligated to work the overtime hours in their building unless excused by the supervisor. 4. Overtime assignments will be on a rotating schedule among the qualified employees within each classification who have expressly volunteered for such overtime work. The employer’s obligation to rotate overtime shall be satisfied by calling employees who are working at the time the overtime determination is made (i.e., not on vacation or other leave of absence) in seniority order and offering them the opportunity to work. 5. If there are insufficient volunteers available for any specific assignment, the employer may require the least senior employee in the division to perform the work. 6. Substantiated errors made in the rotation of overtime (Article XIII Section G.4) will be corrected on the basis of offering the by-passed employee an amount of overtime equal to the time lost due to the error of assignment. Depending on the number of hours involved, it is possible that this may take more than (1) one overtime offer/assignment. Acceptance of the compensatory overtime will not change the employees spot in the overtime rotation, thus the employee will remain eligible for overtime in the same rotation as before the error. The compensatory overtime will not be offered at such a time or in such a manner that would purposefully cause inconvenience or inability to the effected employee to comply. In the event the employee declines the offered overtime work, the employee shall forfeit any future claim to the overtime hours in dispute.

  • Start-Up and Synchronization Consistent with the mutually acceptable procedures of the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer is responsible for the proper synchronization of the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System in accordance with NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner procedures and requirements.

  • Commissioning Commissioning tests of the Interconnection Customer’s installed equipment shall be performed pursuant to applicable codes and standards. The ISO and Connecting Transmission Owner must be given at least five Business Days written notice, or as otherwise mutually agreed to by the Parties, of the tests and may be present to witness the commissioning tests.

  • Maintenance Outages If Seller reasonably determines that it is necessary to schedule a Maintenance Outage, Seller shall notify Buyer of the proposed Maintenance Outage at least five (5) days before the outage begins (or such shorter period to which Buyer may reasonably consent in light of then existing conditions). Upon such notice, the Parties shall plan the Maintenance Outage to mutually accommodate the reasonable requirements of Seller and the service obligations of Buyer; provided, however, that, unless Buyer otherwise consents, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, no Maintenance Outage may be scheduled between the hour ending 0700 through the hour ending 2200, Monday through Saturday, during the time period commencing on May 15 and concluding on September 15. Notice of a proposed Maintenance Outage shall include the expected start date and time of the outage, the amount of Capacity of the Facility that will not be available, and the expected completion date and time of the outage. Seller shall give Buyer notice of the Maintenance Outage as soon as Seller determines that the Maintenance Outage is necessary. Buyer shall promptly respond to such notice and may request reasonable modifications in the schedule for the outage. Seller shall use all reasonable efforts to comply with any request to modify the schedule for a Maintenance Outage. Seller shall notify Buyer of any subsequent changes in Capacity available to Buyer or any changes in the Maintenance Outage completion date and time. As soon as practicable, any notifications given orally shall be confirmed in writing. Seller shall take all reasonable measures and exercise its best efforts in accordance with Prudent Electrical Practices to minimize the frequency and duration of Maintenance Outages.

  • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • Scheduling of Work Subcontractor shall provide Contractor with scheduling information and a proposed schedule for performance of the Subcontract Work consistent with the Progress Schedule and in a form acceptable to Contractor. Subcontractor shall comply with the Progress Schedule including, but not specifically limited to, commencement, duration, and sequencing of activities. Contractor shall reasonably cooperate with the Subcontractor in scheduling the Subcontract Work and shall attempt, as reasonably possible, to avoid conflicts or interference with the Subcontract Work.
