Time Study Committee Sample Clauses

Time Study Committee. The Board and Association acknowledge the value of collaborative and individual planning time and its impact on student growth. The Board, Association, and Time Study Committee will continue to assess competing obligations of the time and build a calendar to maximize the effectiveness of meeting those obligations. At the elementary level, the collaborative time for grade-level teachers will include a 45-minute Professional Learning Team (PLT) meeting, not to exceed three times a week. When possible, grade-level teams will be responsible for collaborative instructional planning on the remaining days. ● When possible, priorities outside of instructional planning (including but not limited to Data Day, Lab Classroom, etc.) will be limited to two times per month. ● PLTs will begin meeting no sooner than the 3rd week of student attendance. ● Every reasonable effort will be made to avoid scheduling PLTs during the weeks of parent-teacher conferences and report cards. ● Every reasonable effort will be made to provide all elementary teachers at l...
